Audio Question on Sony BDP-S360

Turn off any surround type modes on the TV. They often produce the kind of audio you are describing.

On the player, set Audio HDMI to 2 Ch, since that's all your TV can accept. Set Audio DRC to TV Mode, which will reduce dynamic range (effectively boosting dialog), but only for Dolby sources. Set Downmix to Normal.
