im liking cole ortiz as a character reminds me alot of chase from season 3 only a little bit better as he is on his own mostly and isnt riding jacks ass, at least not yet

I think my broadcast got screwed up! One minute Renee was saying she got out with good behavior the next moment she was clamping the guys arm.

Anyways big improvement with these last 2 hours over the first 2. I oddly agree that Hastings is getting annoying. I originally said I liked him a lot but not anymore. Freddie on the other hand has made major improvements in my book in these last 2 hours.

Also is it just me or does anyone else notice how the actor portraying Hastings walks with this odd hunch or something. Kinda like he's sticking his neck out forward.

All I can say after seeing tonight's Episode is Welcome back Renee CHICK IS CRAZY! Total 180 from last year I like her character so much better already, the babysitter comment combined with what she did at the end of the episode shes totally a chick you'd want to do now all that pent up frustration would be one hellva lay!

PS Edit Hastings is a freaking idiot, I predict by the end of the season Tony Almeda is running CTU again!

Great Episode(s) tonight. Fox sure did spoil us with 2 episodes back to back. Now we have to suffer with only one...

. Renee is Rambina. Truly psychotic that even Jack may be afraid of her lol.

I'm impressed with Cole. I thought I'd hate him but as metsfan mentioned, he's a lot like Chase.

The CTU director must get killed! lol

Was watching it on channel 526 in Mississauga (Rogers customer) on HDFOX, it froze during that scene once then I went to regular Global (channel 3), switched back to HD then it happened again and I planted on channel 3.

I had completely forgotten how Renee left things in season seven, forgot she had that lady-Jack moment at the end.

Tonight was a significant improvement upon last night.

Can somebody tell me why does Hasting walk slouch over all the time and why is he so stupid, Rene is back and she look pissed at everybody.

Hastings is a perfect example of how Bill Buchanan will be sorely missed.

how many times are they gonna recycle the nuclear aspect

season 2
season 4
season 6 all dealt with nuclear attacks

also compared to season 7 we dont really have much insight into the season yet

last yrs premiere we had jack brought in, tony captured, jack and tony escape, then jack and tony back undercover

this yr all we have is the president being targeted and nuclear components loose

also jack seems real timid compared to the past but i guess thats to be expected

..the 24 writers need to take notice of how well written and unique Lost is. You'd figured they would throw us something new and different.

Anyone catch the ratings for last night? I'm curious how many people tuned in especially with the Golden Globes going on.

Compare how good 24 was after five seasons and how good Lost is after five seasons. That's when 24 peaked. I haven't seen Lost but I'd confidently raise any of the first five seasons of 24 against Lost.

However, I do agree with the recycled plots for 24.

seasons 1-3 lost A+++++++++++++++++++++++++

4 was alrite but it got kinda stale in the middle

5 wasnt rly that good, the whole storyline got really complex and confusing

to me 24 hasnt rly had a truly bad season

yeah season 6 wasnt great but its still plenty watchable and entertaining
