We get earthquakes here too, had a 4.0 one couple weeks before the Haiti one. There's a fault couple hundred miles away. Looks like the plates are getting active again.

since we're talking about weather in cali. can somebody please explain why people are flipping out about rain? i checked my twitter the other day and everyone from cali was having a COW because of rain...somebody help me understand

Its not suppose to rain here!! Well seeing its LA ppl here cant drive if the floor is wet. Traffic is already bad enough as it is so now its going to be even worse. The major concern though is that recently we had brush fires so alot of ground is bare so there is a a major corcern for mudd slides in certain areas.
