New and shinny versions does not mean better There is something to say about the old stuff, some of it still hold's well when the new stuff just wears out quickly

No doubt it will be full of CGI and of course probably look not as cheesie as the original now look's. I am sure it will be very popular.

The main problem for these old classic Universal Monsters is that the public got more and more jaded over the last 80 years. Kids now a days watch the slasher movies and they are so use to it they just So you can imagine how these old movies must feel to them. I enjoy them cause I used to watched them a lot as a kid, late on saturday night with the light close and just have a blast. I suppose it's now nostalgia that make's me watch them over and over. I just feel that the new horror of today is just about torture and blood and sex. Yes, Dracula is about sex but it wasn't the only thing behind it. Now these days if a horror movie does not include a pair of breasts and a naked girl covered in blood screaming like a banshee, it's boring.

My number 6 would be The Mist...That movie scares me because I fear that's exactly how a small group of people would react when confronted with extreme circumstances.

A movie made on a budget of $30000 who made a few millions at the box I won't bother to see it, more like a ghost story or possession. Those type of story are not that interesting for me, I prefer just skipping it.

Haha I can see some of that. But I am of the late 70's early 80's era so thats why I am big into films like Halloween & Friday the 13th. Its what i grew up on and its what got me hooked at night with the lights off as a youngsta. I guess it depends on what u watched at a early age. Got Em!!
