I think between blu-ray and HD DVD my total comes to 27 movies.

No robocop ANYWHERE except Best Buy who wouldn't price match, and there's no way I'm dropping $34.99 for that title.

Still need to find The Fly somewhere.

I don't think people buy movies just because they are Blu-Ray. Personally, my original intent was to replace the DVDs that I already owned. However, There were movies that I was curious about that did not justify the cost on DVD. With BOGO, I have an incentive to enjoy something outside of my comfort zone with great picture and audio at about DVD price. Most people will rent a movie multiple times. Buying is a no brainer, since family and friends can enjoy it at other times. To each his own!

Ha Ha Ha, I'm one of those that bought Robocop for $34.99 @ Best Buy. I thought that price was a little high but it was the only place in the state that had it. I called everywhere! And it was the last copy on the shelf. So I picked it up! Whats another $35 bucks added on to my BB account? Ha ha thats the attitude that got me in debt ha ha.

I don't remember how many times I have rented, only to return it unwatched because something came up and I didn't have the time to watch it. And also the times I realized it would be nice to watch a film, but the rental stores were closed at that hour. And the times the film I wanted to watch were all rented out and I had to wait.

EDIT: Not to mention the late fees I've had to pay because I couldn't get back to the store at the right time.

It's nice to have your own copy handy.

Lol. Your post gave me flashbacks. You reminded me of all the headaches. Absolutely correct. Add another....having the kids misplace the movie and what they charged to replace it.

I think im going to try to go back to Circuit City and see if that same lady is working to get some more blu-rays.... Maybe she will give me the Blu-rays for 7.50 each if they are 24.99. I never tried that since they didnt have the initial titles i was looking for but for 7.50 each what the hell right?
Good luck, Waiting!

That nice lady is probably not working at CC anymore! I certainly hope that she is... but, chances are...

Well bargained, though!

Rup.
