I think with the BOGO sale, 56:44 could be a reality.

Does anyone know how long the current winning streak has been going on?

I think HD DVD may have outsold Blu Ray sometime in the beginning when it first came out but how long have they been losing? I can't find it.

Ohh, pretty much since the PS3 came out, the tide turned sharply last December, a little bit after the PS3 was on store shelves.

These numbers are amazing! With 20th Century Fox back, the Blu-ray side can put even more pressure on Universal to finally go with Blu-ray. The main problem is still the executives.

Isn't it just unreal the way the HD DUD-ers try to cling to the notion that the PS3 didn't win this war last Nov? I'm impressed with thier ability to ignore stuff they don't like.

Living in denial is all I can say, it's only a matter of time before they will have to admit things the way they are, instead of twisting things.

And HD-DVD's day and date title, Evan Almighty, barely squeeked ahead of the blu of 300 with indexes of 45.62 to 37.58 folowed by Knocked Up at 27.03.

Next week will be interesting indeed.

I still say Bluray has a chance to be 50:50. If Bluray wins that in my opinion is the final nail in the coffin. You can't win a single week with what is quite possibly the biggest movie of the year you basically are hopeless.

If BD wins next week AVS will be divided...there will be a meager few who claim the BOGO makes its irrelevant but id say 95% will just come to the realization this year is over

That said i think there is a 2% chance BD can win next week, haha....seriously Transformers probably sold a **** ton at B&M sure, the amazon BOGO surely offset Transformers on amazon and then some, but i dont know if th eB&M BOGO was widespread enough....

Definately the most anticipated week of the year.

The BOGO was at Best Buy in the US wasn't it? They are the #1 hi-def disc retailer by far.
