Oh okay, well what's wrong with that?

By the way, how do I add movies to my collection? Sorry, new here.

I'm not making a fuss...I just think they're dumb. Especially when it comes to catalog titles...chances are anyone that wants the film on blu already has it on dvd. Other people are freaking out because of all the playback issues there were with the HD-DVD combo discs that Warner was putting out a couple years ago.

I don't really care one way or another either....... but some people are pretty vocal about their disdain for the "flippers" Some people are anti-DVD just for the sake of it..... others would rather have the disc art, than the DVD functionality, and other people feel it will only cause consumer confusion (which it 'may' ) but I think it helps those who aren't ready to replace their DVD player with a Blu-ray player a good reason to, when they realize they have 20 Blu-rays already sitting on their shelf

Either way, the Dude abides.....

Me too. This is one of those titles that needs to get released already. (They've already released the Coens' "Fargo" on BD, seems like this would be the next logical title on the list...)

This is one of those movies I wouldn't care if it were on Blu-ray or not, it's just as good on DVD to me

Though I do not own it, if it were to be released on Blu-ray I would get it though.

Per our very own blu-ray.com website, there's a placeholder for a UK Universal Blu-ray release of the Big Lebowski on September 19, 2011. Though the placeholder says Region B, historically, Universal does region free. Here's hoping we'll be getting a release in the United States as well!

There's a little more info on the sources here too: https://forum.blu-ray.com/united-kin...ki-1998-a.html
