Why mix the genres?

How can you have:
Star Wars A New Hope in the same poll as Shrek?
Pee Wee's Big Adventure in the same poll as Indian Jones?
Casablanca with Hitch or True Romance?
Blazing Saddles with Blood Diamond?

These last few polls have reminded me of that old song on Sesame Street... one of these things just doesn't belong.
I'm guessing with no offense to Czar it's probably because he hasn't seen half the movies and is going by internet research.

Blazing Saddles and Pee Wee's Big Adventure should both be in this poll.

I wanted to vote for Blazing Saddles and Major Payne but they're not on the list.

There doesn't seem to be much love for The Gods Must Be Crazy. I wonder if people don't care for it or if not many people here have seen it.

a long time ago I was thinking of putting my movies in genre sections and these polls remind me of why I didn't do it--

would Blazing Saddles be in "westerns" or "comedies"?
Man on Fire in "drama" or "action"?
The Thing in "sci-fi" or "horror"?
Aliens in "sci-fi" or "action"

arrgggghhhhh

Hmmm No "The Jerk" and no "Fletch"

But I went with:

Animal House
Airplane
Clerks
Young Frankenstein
Monty Python/Holy Grail
Stripes
Caddyshack

Agree with your post. It is difficult to classify some of the movies. Czar did a good job getting this together.
