they are gonna have to the push the limits for Batman 3.. even Higher

without Ledger as Joker? its gonna be tough to really even want a Batman 3..

we know it was a insane Money maker,

but if anybody in the Business really wants to get a Good Even Better
Third Sequel

they will need to get Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.. those two as Catwoman and The Riddler would be amazing..

and Depp being a Close friend of Ledgers would jump at the chance to Give The Riddler a Chance..

Anybody in Movie Business knows.. that those two Actors are Perfect for the Roles!

No way.

Too many movies in Summer 2011 already and incredibly too soon to be released (the script isn't finished if even started, no casting, etc. etc.).

Summer 2012 at the earliest if it happens.

I'm going to have to disagree with a lot of that. I don't know if it will have the same hype without Ledger's death. I'm sure it will make a tons of money but I'm not certain it could match TDK.

Depp as The Riddler, maybe. I like him and he is a good actor but I am a little hesitant. I'm betting I would like him. Keep Angelina Jolie away please. This is completely based on my taste but I do not think she is a very good actress and she makes worse every film that I've seen her in. Just my preference.

I do agree that it will be hard for me to want more, really want more. Considering the character development and evolution of Gotham, the realization of who Batman must become and how he got there, there is nothing more to tell. The Dark Knight ended it perfectly. However, as a selfish audience member, I want more.

Also, that Harley Quinn poster is awesome (wouldn't it be weird to have Kristen Bell and Christian Bale?).

I doubt Nolan will pick Depp and Bell since most people already are talking about them.

i really dont want a Batman 3 to be honest..

i think it should stay with TDK and call it good..

The way I look at it, there will always be more Batman movies. Warner Bros. will never say "Well, tht's all we need to say about the character in film. Let's leave it at that." So we'll get more whether it be Nolan, another director, Justice League, or Burton and Keaton again (would be awesome!). So I would rather have more sooner rather than later and with Nolan at the helm since he has done an amazing job thus far. And we don't know if this is all there is to be told. The Dark Knight seems to have ended perfectly but you never know until the character gets over-saturated and we plea for them to stop.

I don't want more but I'm not a fan of the series or horror in general.

We'll see what happens. Goyer didn't specifically state he was doing more Batman but he has penned some good films so I'm excited for whatever project he might be working on.

yeah man.. if batman 3 is done right. i will love it.. which it most likely will be

Please no Angelina Jolie. I agree Johnny Depp is a must. Does no1 else think though that he would be one of only a handful of people who could pull off the joker too if that character was to return? As wasnt there a rumour that the joker would return for a 3rd film before Heath Ledger died?

Yeah i agree that he could be a good Joker for sure, but anyhow, we (or at least many of us) wouldnt have guessed that Heath ledger could make such a wonderful character.
I mean maybe another actor can play it somehow good enough in case they want the Joker again, but having Johnny Depp playing the other Villain.

I remember watching the trailer of TDK like 20 times in a row when they released it, just the Joker's voice/laugh made me love his interpretation, and that was some months before his death (to all those who say its overrated because of it) to me at least, it is not.
