Default Price Tracker - not sending email notification

I just tried to price track the movie Music and Lyrics. The current price is 10.99 and I set My price to 12.99. It does show the big green notification at the top of the site.

But, I am not getting an email notification. Is Price Tracker supposed to send email notifications?

There is a check box, that is checked, to send email notifications. And to the right is Price Range (Diff): 3. I'm not sure what this number means or if it is affecting the not sending email notifications.

Thanks

I must say I am really pleased to see such site which sharing good knowledge.
Keep the site as it is because it is simply the best. Color combination of background and font I like most. Speed of response also the best. No need to any changes.
Thanks.

Something's going on with the server, last night the site was down for awhile, no threads would load and then this morning it logged me out. Might be back-up issues or server hiccups, who knows?

I think most of these issues should be resolved by now. Let me know if you spot anything else that isn't working

is it just me or when you now post a link....say to a movie on the site or a youtube video, the link is a title instead of the web address.

like this:

Clive Owen is the Villain in Spider-Man Reboot? | WorstPreviews.com

when did that change b/c it's pretty cool!!!

I noticed that too!

Instead of having to type the text and then embed the link in it you can just post the link now

Why does every title on this site end with "Blu-Ray"?

Obviously, if this web site is called blu-ray.com, everyone browsing it should know you guys cover Blu-Ray titles only, so why is there a need to end each entry with "Blu-Ray"? It's not like you need to differentiate between DVD titles and Blu-Ray titles seeing as your site deals strictly with Blu-Rays.

Am I missing something here? Is there actually a legitimate reason for this naming scheme? It's not a big deal or anything, but it's kind of annoying when I'm just browsing and I have to stop myself from reading the end of each title because it's a waste of time to read "Blu-Ray" every single time.

I have to completely agree on this one. It's not that it bothers me, but it would be better (cleaner) to just remove the Blu-ray part from the titles.

But on a personal note to you, mrdrinkinglysol, it's "Blu-ray" and not "Blu-Ray". That annoys me more than Blu-ray being mentioned after each title. It's like typing DvD or Dvd in stead of DVD.

Anybody know how to switch versions, i.e. I'm looking at A Few Good Men US version and I want to switch to UK version? Did I have to search every time?

Try changing flags up in the top right hand corner.

Didn't work for me..it's still the same version. I have to search the title again so I can see different BD versions for each movie.

It would be nice if there's an "other version" link though, so no need to search every time.

Sorry Jason, I'm the one whose not clear. The example above is correct, this is what I did right now

What I meant is from the 'summary' page, I'd like to have a direct link to 'other versions' as well, instead of having to type the title in the search box again. Sometimes it does link, like Star Trek, but most of the time there's no linkage between each BD version, other than the search page.

Just my suggestions

On the My price tracker page, can someone explain what the "Price range (Diff)" box is for? The default setting is 3.

Also, is the checkbox for the email notification, or for the "Price range (Diff)" setting?

In regards to any duplicate threads, please report them and they will be merged

As for everything else, all up to admin. I don't have a problem with Movies and TV being recombined but I will say it's very nice to have separate stickies for each (and as you can see, Movies drives a lot of traffic on its own).
