i ordered couples retreat yesterday for like 23 bucks! now the price fell to 19.99. it got shipped yesterday so i doubt with amazon's new no price match policy i'll be getting any money back. FML

just wanted to vent.... hey it's GC right?

Ya..Amazon does this all the time and they always refuse to refund me the $2 difference. It's a shame because I've spent a good 2k on their site in the last 2 years. You'd figure that they'd give us a break.

I'm guessing you're a fan of the film? I wasn't that impressed with it.

Can't you return the item for full refund and then re-purchase the item at a lower price?.

LOL he could but it doesn't seem like he wants to do that. The truth is Amazon's prices fluctuate all the time, every time you make a purchase you're taking a risk.

They covered my return when I sent them back a TV season that wouldn't play fully.

Ya..Amazon will gladly send you a replacement for free if you've got a defective disk. If you decide to not want a particular item...they make you pay shipping. It's ridiculous. I had that problem with Monsters Inc/Up they took forever and didn't match BB so I bought it there instead but ended up paying about $4 to ship it back to them.

If thats the case, then the OP could return it for a full refund. All we had to do is confirm whether you have to pay or not.

In your case you had a defective TV season, the Op on the other hands is just simply returning it and its still wrapped, could that be the reason why he has to pay to return it?
