Got a question about the Barnes and Noble membership. Im living in Norway, what are the shipping rates for europe?

And the current member price for the Seventh Seal is 29$, will the price be 14.50$ - 10% = 13$ when the 50% sale is on?

My closest Barnes & Noble stores don't have a DVD/Blu section. Are those coupons usable online?

They're usable once online if your membership join date meets the requirement. They're usable unlimited times in-store regardless of whether your membership join date meets the requirement.

I'm wondering if there's something I missed and that I should have held off until this sale, but if it's only a couple bucks difference it doesn't seem like it'd be worth the wait...not that it matters for me now, but since I've pre-ordered all of the upcoming, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something here.
yes, I believe it was actually $17.99 with membership and $19.99 without. Forgot.... but yeah, the box sets, Eclipse series...everything is cheap.

Just remember that if you are planning to spend over $100, then get the membership because it literally pays for itself. My first order, I wish I did that. I would have saved money and would have used that 25% off new member coupon wisely.

Yes, the price will be around there if the Blu-rays have dropped in price since November. I do know that people did purchase it for $13 using the sale+membership+25% off coupon.

Bare in mind, I know that some people overseas who have ordered from B&N during the sale had some major custom charges. Not sure how it works in Norway but hopefully, customs don't charge too much if you order plenty.

-------------------
One more thing. It will be interesting to see how B&N handles the 25% off printed store coupons because people were re-using that left and right during the 50% off sale and B&N during the final few days seemed to have put a stop to it.

FYI, Pierrot le fou is sold out on Amazon and B&N website. It looks like Criterion is keeping whatever is left for themselves, if they even have any. They say they have it, and $27 is a good deal now. I got my Amazon copy last week, although it took 3 weeks. 3 days later, delivery date was pulled from Amazon, so they are out. I did score another copy (in case Amazon screwed me) from that wherehouse.com sale a week or so ago. Now wherehouse is OOS. Best Buys website is backordered and will probably not get them either, so is deepdiscount. Its the Third Man situation all over again. Ebay prices are at $40 already. If you need it, go to your local B&N and get a copy, because they seem to be gone everywhere.

Create a Paypal account if you haven't already.
Send money to store@criterion.com
Under the message box, tell Criterion which cases you need and provide a shipping address.
It's $10 for the first 2 ($5 each), $2.50 for any additional case.
So 4 cases will be $15.00, all 9 is $27.50

Keep in mind you are not emailing money, the whole process is done through the Paypal website.
The message box appears while you are sending money through the Paypal website.

Revanche, Hunger and Lola Montes showed up today, which to watch first....

For those of you that don't use paypal for anything else and want to buy the replacement cases, email Criterion, they allowed me to pay with credit card via phone.

You could go in alphabetical order... or, how about watching in the order of release date?

I've never seen any of them, but I'm thinking of Revanche tonight, I don't think my wife would appreciate the other two as much...most of the Criterion's are a tad on the slow side for her, and I have the feeling that both Lola and Hunger would fall into that category.

Definitely a good idea to go with Revanche when you're watching a Criterion film with your wife.
My girlfriend absolutely loved the movie, although she normally hates most of Criterion's films.

btw. do any of you know if Criterion ships the replacement cases to Europe? And if yes how much they charge for the shipping?

I made the mistake of putting in Playtime to watch together and she was so bored it kind of ruined the experience for me as well. I get up earlier than her on the weekends and that's when I get to watch the slower and less coherent films.
Good to hear that your girlfriend liked Revanche, that's a good omen for tonight

I have the same dilemma, only add Contempt, Ran, and The Ladykillers to the list.

I have to watch the new episode of Lost this evening...Afterwards, I may watch Revanche.

Amazon screwed up, my copies of Hunger and Revanche won't arrive until tomorrow.

They did refund the money I paid for shipping.

They do, but charge $15 each for the first two (yes, FIFTEEN) and $2.50 each after that.

Just received my copy of Lola Montes in the mail at work. I was looking at the logos on the back and noticed the L'OREAL logo. Is this what I think it is? The makeup company? What is their logo doing on the back of a Criterion title?
