Yeah thats pretty much how I feel. It seems that they have run out of those though. Dont get me wrong I like well done remakes and sequels, but they are few and far between. There has been seemingly a larger than normal amount of remakes and sequels lately. Two that jump out at me are Red Dawn, a movie that probably didn't need to be remade and the A team, which should have been a good movie. That said I'm not holding out a lot of hope for either of these, I think the rash of remakes and sequels that are coming out lately are pretty much for the purpose of trying to make money off of the name recognition alone. It doesn't seem that a lot of effort is being put into making a good movie, instead they make an ok or even marginal movie and let the name generate sales. I hope Im wrong about those movies, but I really doubt I am.
