Default In store

Target in store, I'm sorry I didn't clarify but if one targer has them all for $18.99 all of them should.

Full Metal Jacket & Eyes Wide Shut arrived from Warner today. I never got a shipping notice.

I'm still waiting for 2001, Clockwork Orange, and the Shining from them though. Hopefully soon.

Thumbs down

None of the titles were out on display at the Best Buy near me, but they had Meet the Robinsons for $22.99. I guess they take their time with catalog titles...

If the distributor has it in stock like they claim. If the distributor knows where they are etc. And well. If other things are being ordered from that factory as well.

Logistics is fun work. Lots of stuff that can and does go wrong with it.

Re checking your best buy stores. You can store your local store stocks on their website. Also you can do similar with target's website.

They had them all at the BB I was just at. I picked up Mr. Brooks and Meet the Robinsons, however, as I'm dedicating myself towards picking up at least some (if not all) of the day and date releases that come to BD every week.

Yeah, my local Best Buy had all of them as well and even had the new releases on the shelves when the store opened. I'm usually having to ask about them or having to look through their boxes/portable racks to find them.

Anyway, only had a chance to watch 2001 so far but it looked surprisingly good.

For WB to have shipping issues. This is the case with almost every release of theirs. Some make it to the stores, some don't for a week or two.

Why is Amazon now showing 5-6 weeks delivery for this? I'm devastated.

And now Clockwork Orange is shown as coming out on the 30th... Great, looks like Warner is having distro problems again.

Yes, what is up?

For the HD DVD release they say "Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by Amazon.com"

For the Blu-ray release they say "Availability: Usually ships within 5 to 6 weeks. Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."

ARE THEY DOING THIS PURPOSELY? To jack the sales figures for HD DVD ??

same here, the whole reason I started ordering off of Amazon was because I was having trouble finding Blu-Ray titles in stores like Best Buy and Circuit City, and the Amazon titles are cheaper, but I might be willing to pay a little more, if I could avoid all the aggravation of not getting the titles that I ordered on time.

Banjo, have you seen any of the Warner titles up here in Canada?

Yesterday, the FS site said November 6th but Best Buy was today - fast forward to this morning and both are November 6th. Same thing happened with Troy, it's like we are definitely postponed, and some people down south are postponed as well.

How high up does the chain go in terms of NOT wanting my money?

Default Kubrick delayed at Amazon

I just got an e-mail from Amazon that Eyes Wide Shut won't ship until Dec 5th! My order for A Clockwork Orange and 2001 hasn't shipped yet either. So much for pre-ordering.
