I've seen him before at Ozz fest, he's alright live, but he doesn't play enough
old White Zombie...His metal is just a little to mellow for me...

At least I get to see Slayer/Megadeth also this summer, that's more up my alley..

His live shows are like Alice Cooper's. You will be entertained by the end of the show, I can guarentee. For KoRn however, bring earplugs .

EDIT: In addition, you have John5 on guitar. He always does some cool solo guitar stuff.

It'll be alright, Lamb of God is just good old speed metal...Then Zombie, followed by copious amounts of beer to tolerate Korn...I expect my wife
will owe me though..

Oh the pain lol.

I'm going to admit one thing, regardless of what you say about how Halloween was a different film it doesn't make up the fact for a poor script and bad acting.

Zombie isn't a talented director or musician. Sure if you like his movies or music fine. We don't care if you do but when he directs beloved franchises and is the man claiming to bring the series back to credibility and effs it up, it doesn't make up for anything.

He plain out sucks the end.

I wasn't gonna weigh in on this, but some of these post made my head hurt, so here it goes...

First, I'm a horror fan, and slasher films are my weakness (like sex, even when its bad, its still pretty good). That said, I'm sick to death of the horror remake.

Now, when I see the word MOVIES used in these posts (i.e. RZ's Halloween MOVIES are way better, or the original MOVIES are better....), I can't help but chuckle. Save for the the original Halloween (which, while everyone is certainly entitled to there opinions, is widely considered a classic), arguing over which is better is kinda like arguing who's the smartest person between a group of ppl w/ single digit IQs, no matter who wins, they're all morons. Now, I love slasher movies, but I'd hardly call them good. I view them in the same way others can sit through summer action movies, they're dumb fun. So when I see post arguing about how this or that is stupid/doesn't make sense/etc., etc., it's truly maddening.

Now, should RZ keep making films? Well, by my avatar, I'm sure you can guess where I come down on this. I'll say this, yes he should, but he definitely lost some of his mojo since The Devil's Rejects, and he really needs to stop putting Sheri Moon Zombie in everything he makes (if he had scrapped the 30 mins or so in H2 that she's in, I think it would have been a better film).

Lastly, while I liked the TCM remake, the best remake tag belongs to Dawn of The Dead (but niether are better than the originals, and I've yet to meet anyone born before 1985 who disagrees).

Devils Rejects was like the Key Lime Pie, that we needed to save the horror films.. back then.

a masterpiece

Well... meet your first then lol... i think the TCM remake is better than the original...i dont think the original has aged very well but ill watch it again as its been a while...

also, i must say... im by no means a big Halloween fan...the original was pretty boring in my opinion and had minimal suspense without the use of Carpenters music... take the music out of that movie and its pretty terrible imo
