Well, I see both sides of the matter with James and Steph.

I think they all wanted JT to speak up and he had problems with the pieces and almost everyone started chiming in. It ticked James off and he spoke out. But he spoke out too much. Not sure why he singled Steph out when others were calling out orders too. But he did. And at tribal had he just mentioned the challenge and the downfall that would be one thing but he brought up the previous season Steph was on...that was overkill. Too bad for Tom and Colby for speaking out...they have a target now. Steph was right for saying her peace at the end and James was wrong for telling her to “shut up”.

Now on to the previews....I think they had the order flipped. I think the night scene is when they get back to camp after tribal and then James decided to take out his anger on the villains. The way it was shown (in my area) had it reversed making it look like James flipped out at a challenge and then the Heroes were upset about the flip-out as if they lost it because of that.

i will say i disagree w/him attcking her about her past season, but i think he only did that b/c she piped up while he was talking....and again, he let his emotions get the better of him.

i hope the heroes can turn it around and one of them end up winning in the end.

And here I was thinking that James was such a great guy. Lost all respect for him last night, its one thing to express your opinion and be done with it, but to go on and on and in the that tone. And anytime a man tells a woman to "shut your mouth" it bothers me, the term is so disrespectful and I was glad the other guy said something at that point.

Thank you... I totally forgot he did that. I will say speaking to ANYONE like that, regardless of gender, was COMPLETELY CLASSLESS. But gender will play into that. The remaining women will hate him, and the old fashioned gentlemen like Tom, Colby and TJ will have lost much respect for him just for that one remark.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the Villains are going to go down next week and vote out one of their own. I think James is going to run amok in the immunity challenge.

if that physical challenge is the immunity challenge (which i doubt it is), then i'd say james is p!ssed enough to take on all of the villians himself and u'd be right!!

It's a house divided at my home. I'm going for the Villains side mostly because of Russell, and my fiancee is going for the Heroes side. A little trash talking ensued after last night mostly from me lol. How dumb are the Heroes?

I think James was placed on the wrong side. After this season he should be considered a villain with an outburst like that. I repeat total douche.

My favorite quote from last night:
"Boston Rob thinks that he's in charge. I'm starting to think this just ain't working out. I didn't know his personality was that strong. But you know what? This is what: I'm in charge. I'm King Russell from Samoa." - Russell.

The fact of the matter was that JT was supposed to take control of that challenge and lead the Heroes. Stephanie didn't listen to this and was in large part the cause of all the confusion and mayhem that ensued. James had every right to call her out on her poor performance at the challenge. And she was less then restrained after she had been voted off, that comment was child-like and made her come off as a sore loser.

no, he is absolutely right a ship needs a captain. Both times they lost because of Chaos, they have the strength (always in the lead early on) but no one takes leadership and no one is willing to follow (so during the puzzles everyone does their own thing and they lose)

don't forget that we only see a few minutes of what is a lot longer and not necessarily in the right order. But to me it looks as she start it, and she was being targeted and James is a bad player (always painting a bulls eye on himself). As for superstition, I agree, but then again if we look at the tribe as having three groups (James/JT/Rupert/Amanda, Tom/Steph/Colby, Cirie/Candice) you need the third (or at least part of the 3) to move forward. If a "jinx" helps them join you then why not..

wow, i fianally was able to watch my DVR recording of this, i was staying out of the thread until i was able to watch, crazy episode

i know the producers are LOVING how this is going right now, most people had to start with the thought that the villans were just going to eat each other alive and that the heros would dominate early on, but its the exact opposite, the villans come together and win challenges because the heros cant get their acgt together and work as a team

i can understand james's frustration with hoe that challenge went down, but he took it wayyyyy too far, maybe all the weight lifting he does give him too much testosterone and he cant help himself or something, but i would have been pissed too, except i would have kept a little more quiet about it and not made myself look horrible in the process

i think the poster was right about the creative editing in the previews for next week too, reversing the order of those scenes, but that doesnt mean the heros necessarily win, but i think walrus is 2 for 2 in calling eliminations so far

I think it is the issue is what they call vilain and hero. In the end the vilains where people that where strategising more and as such it makes sense to strategize in some way that wins. The Heros weren’t really any better, it was like the finally last season, some thought Russel should win because he was bad a$$ but the girl that won voted the exact same way, she actually was more treacherous (pretending to be nice and friendly with the others which is how she got the other tribe to vote one of their own off which lead to being able to fracture the other tribe into bite size pieces) but with a smile. Or look at Paverty she is a villain because she screwed James, but sugar did the same thing to Ace(?)

I will agree that a few of the people have been miscast into the respective tribes. I think a good "trade" would be to have Coach on Heroes and Cirie on Villains.

But JT didn't step up. How that becomes Stephanie's fault is beyond me. She wasn't the only one hurling orders out there. It seemed like everyone BUT JT was yelling orders. Her point was very valid. It was rediculous that she was singled out as the cause for failure in that challenge when the whole team failed. But by far the biggest failure was by the man who was chosen to lead the challenge beforehand and then failed to do so. Then James telling her to shut her mouth? Well that's going to cost him the game.

thats true, i think really what made a lot of the hero or villan decision was how well people controlled their mouths too, because there are a lot of strategists on the heros team too, but aside from james, they arent people that are known for violent outburts and saying really mean or evil things in their interviews, its more about people that try to be more sneaky about their backstabbing and strategizing as opposed to the villans who just say whatever comes to their minds and dont care if it offends

either that or they just took viewers opinions of people, and they took all the popular contestants, but they looked at them as either people love them (heros) or love to hate them (villans), which is how a lot of people seem a tad out of place on their respective teams

but can you just see coach's ego explode if he was put on the heros team? i think they should have done that just to see how reacts, but i can definitely see his villan status because people love to hate him, not because he is an evil player, but because he is so annoying

james made it her fault because she was the most vocal of the people that werent JT, and when he tried to get people to be quiet so that maybe he could start speaking up, she became confrontational, and he let his anger and frustration get the best of him, and his mind became set that it was her fault and her fault alone, the fact was, it was all of their faults becuase they werent working together, and their leader for that challenge wasnt really leading, they showed him a few times kind of quietly say, "no, this is right, we had it right" but he wasnt forceful enough, so their was equal blame to ga around, but he was the one that was going on about it, nobody really stood up for her until tribal council, then it was too late, colby and tom should have been trying to tell the two swing voters their side and ticking up for stephanie, and that james was crazy and overreacting, and they need to get rid of him for the sake of the tribe working together, but for some reason, they wanted to go after amanda, i guess they didnt think getting rid of their strongest member so early was a good idea, but colby, tom, and steph i think approached the swing voters with the wrong strategy too, they didnt help enough to keep steph around, so they share some of the blame for losing her too

The preview looks like it's setting up to be pretty much my Survivor dream scenario: Rob vs. Russell. Looks like things are going to get really interesting when the villains pick each other off.

On a side note, anyone else bugged by the fact that they're only doing one challenge for both reward and immunity? To me, the challenges are an awesome part of the show, and I don't like having just one per show. On the other hand, I guess it lets the viewer get into some of the more social parts of the game. They probably figure that with it being another "all-star" cast, that we want to see them playing the social game over having two challenges every week.
