I've always been skeptical on Vizio until I purchased my first Vizio last year. It is great and every bit as good as most of the big name brand tv's. It's frame interpolation is excellent.

I own a Sony and I truly believe that it's still a superior product across the board-- but I'll admit that I've seen the Vizio Tv's on display and the picture looks very nice.
I personally would not buy one though for several more years to see what kind of longevity and repair record they have in time....
