2010 is a must have on Blu for the special effects alone and since the Blu ray transfer is done by Sony you know its gonna look excellent. A blind buy for me.

Blu-Ray says it is with 3 disc, Amazon post listings as 2 disc. Which is it; Blu-Ray.com or Amazon.com?

So my question is answered again, it is a three disc edition. I'm just making sure because I thought the 3 disc edition was exclusive only to Target.

Sony doesn't count the digital copy when they note disc count.

Best Buy and Amazon both carry the 2 disc versions + Digital copy. The Target Exclusive lists a digital copy also so I'm guessing it's the same 2 disc+digital that Amazon has and Target's exclusive, making 4 discs technically. nevertheless, ince The pces are pretty much the same all over to me, I may cancel my Amazon pre-order and pick this up at Target on release day.

Does anyone know what format the 2012 digital copy is? iTunes? Windows Media? Both?

I just picked up the Justice League: Crisis BD, and was supremely disappointed that it was only Windows Media.

That is not necessarily true at all...."Angels & Demons" is a Sony title and it included a digital copy disc that offered WMV, iTunes, and PSP options...

This seems to be Sony's MO regarding digital copies: IF a movie includes a separate disc for the digital copy (like "2012" and "Angels & Demons" do), then it includes the digital copy in all three formats....however, if a separate digital copy disc is not included (like "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" or the Best Buy exclusive version of "This Is It"), then it only includes a PSP digital copy on the Blu-ray Disc that you need a PS3 to access....

I saw 2012 in the theater and it might be the worst movie I've ever seen. Terrible plot, terrible acting, and main guy should have died like 10 different times, but guess he has Superman powers. This movie is all flash (with the special effects) and absolutely no substance. I can't imagine anyone with any sign of intelligence enjoying this garbage.

Diifferent strokes for different folks. I'm sure there's tons of movies you like others consider garbage.

It's a big budget mega disaster movie. So of course it's going to be somewhat implausible.
