I don't like that they gave the humans way more time than the monsters. When the original draft was made by Toho for Godzilla: Final Wars, it was going to be Godzilla Jr from Godzilla Vs Destoroyah who was seen as too much of a risk because he had taken in all of his father's radioactivity from the meltdown. So, the powers at be decided to take Godzilla head on and con him into the South Pole to encase him in ice. Then, after many years of peace, Xiliens came to Earth and decided to try to take over. And originally Mechagodzilla, from the 1993 film, was in this draft of the film too. It was going to be an all out war and Godzilla was going to be the one monster army.

Ya, I've seen nearly all of his stuff. Great director...

I recently watched LoveDeath. Kind of a twisted Bonnie & Clyde. Not his best, but it was pretty fun.
