I'm having a problem guys. In the past few weeks I haven't been hitting my calorie count. Supose to eat around 2200 to 2300 to lose 1lb a week. But I'm hitting 1500 to 1600. I mean yes I can eat every 2 hours but I'm not hungry every 2 hours after i eat.

I was bad and didn't work out over the long weekend. Gonna make up for it by starting my jogging up again today.

I started Power 90 last week. Power 90 is from Beach Body, which is the same company as P90X. Power 90 is also a 90 day program but it is more for beginners than P90X. So far it hasn't been awful. It has a beginner and advanced level, right now I'm doing the beginner and will probably switch to advanced in a couple weeks. I've been working out in the morning and I'm amazed by how much more energy I have at work even though I'm waking up 45 minutes earlier. I know longer feel the need for a Diet Coke in the morning. I'm still running on the treadmill most evenings. I have lost about 20 pounds in 6 weeks, and hope to lose another 30 by June.

Is it bad to loose 25-30 lbs a month if your body does it just from exercise?

If any of you guys have done the p90x I'd like to know how it worked for you. I'm pretty athletic and I work out regularly but I'm just wondering if it will help me get the definition I'm looking for. What do you think of the program, is it worth it?

P90X is a damn good program. I used it and modified with for about two years, and I went from 220 to about 185 with it. It also gave me a good knowledge base to move onto other stuff (interval training for cardio, and to get back to the gym). It is optimal if you want to lean out and put on a bit of mass as well. Diet is very, very key on it. If you want real size there is no substitute for heavy lifting at the gym (bench, squats, deads, etc) but P90X is great if you want to improve your overall fitness and shred yourself up a bit.

That amount of weight loss is simply not possible in a healthy manner unless you weigh over 400 to 500 pounds to begin with. Three months is a more realistic goal for that weight loss.

I used to be overweight a bit but now I am normal for my age. All you have to do is slowly start to build your physical activity up. For example, I wanted to get rid if my stomach so I started to do some sit-ups and slowly went up by fives. Frist 20, then 25 and so on. You must also watch what you eat. When you want a snack, instead of reaching for the chocolate or chips, why not get a carrot or something… I hope this will help you with your weight battle..

Oh man ... I gotta lose weight too.

My problem is 2 fold. Exercise and Diet ... as I am sure most people. Having a desk job is also not helping either.

I am going to start jogging everyday, but I don't think it will make a lick of difference if I don't eat right. Right now I eat out for practically every meal. Also, wash down with either POP or Coffee. Lets just say, I am in serious unhealthy trouble.

I need to lose about 40 pounds.

Where do you eat out and what do you eat there? Honestly don't have the will to cook for myself, neither does my wife, so what can I do? Any suggestions?

Calories brother if you can cut it down to the 2000 calories or less doesn't matter what you do job wise or lounging wise you'll lose weight.
