MAG vs. COD:MW2

I dont own a PS3 and I havent played MAG. I am considering buying a PS3 for this game. But I wanted to ask a few questions first before I made my decision.

I understand they are two different types of FPS game, but which game, if you had to choose, would you consider a better game? And do you think COD will ever have a multiplayer numbers like the way MAG does?

if i had to choose between one or the other, i would choose MAG every single time, i love the structure of the game, and i love how it all works, sure it doesnt look as good as MW2 in the graphics department, but when im playing a really intense match in MAG, im not even paying attention to how good the scenery looks, the way i would look at it is, if you are used to the lone wolf style of MW2 and you like just running around shooting at anything that moves and you dont really like working as a team with a group of other players, MW2 is your game, but if you want to play a more tactical, strategic, teamwork style of game that relies not only on the skills of the players, but also on how well you communicate with each other, then give MAG a shot, its definitely worth it

i think that COD games might eventually get to the level where they can handle those numbers of people in the same game, but they probably wont do it unless MAG really catches on and the bigger numbers become the games that people want to play, if not, they will keep it at the more modest numbers they have now

i wouldnt exactly say you should buy a PS3 solely to play MAG, but there are so many other great things the PS3 can do as well, and there are a ton of other great games out there too, so if you are interested in all of the other things PS3 can do as well, then definitely get one and give MAG a shot while you are at it

MAG gives me the same feeling I had when I first played CoD2 and Cod4. It's very exciting. MW2 on the other hand I hate with a passion. For me, that game completely drove the series into the ground and I already despised 3 and WaW.

I would say MAG is better quality, funner, and it has a better community.

im glad to see support for MAG, i hope it really catches on and we get some DLC or a sequel with new maps or game types, id love this to continue to grow

Not me! I played the MAG demo and it did absolutely nothing for me.

well i played MW2 from start to plat, and it was ok, but the MP mode is just a cluster f@#! to me, MAG is much more fun in my opinion, but to each their own

From a multiplayer stand point I personally find MAG to be more enjoyable but it can at times be a real pain in the butt. The only reason I would really rate CODMW2 higher is just for the story mode a lone and its pretty rock solid gameplay mechanics.
