Since this format keeps on growing with more and more new releases every week, and since I am a documentary buff, I thought I would keep a running list of Documentaries and Related Special Interest releases such as Sunrise Earth on the Blu-ray format. Since you've got Monterey Pop & Woodstock listed, I would think Soul Power and The Kids Are Alright would meet your definition as well.

Not sure about Stop Making Sense, The Who: Kilburn 1977, The Who: Live at the Isle of Wight Festival, The Last Waltz or Michael Jackson's This is It.

Baraka. Simply a must see on blu.

Others that I enjoy are ENRON, Food INC, It Might Get Loud, Riding Giants, Planet Earth. Thats a pretty good variety.

Plenty of others that I'd like to see on blu but I can't see transfers of politial docs like Taxi to the Dark Side or Religilous or Sicko happening..... ever. As long as more are made from here on out I'll be happy.

Kids is definately a doc, I'm pretty sure 'Soul Power' would be comparable to either Monterey Pop or Woodstock in terms of structure etc. 'Stop Making Sense' & 'Last Waltz' are both concert films that exhibited theatrically. 'This Is It', 'Kilburn', 'Wight' to the best of my knowledge, never exhibited theatrically, but neither did about 50% of the titles you show.

'Kilburn' & 'Wight' are concert films, 'This Is It' is concert rehearsals, don't know about additional content.

I just noticed you don't have Gimme Shelter, definately a doc (a celebrated one at that), not "just" a concert film. I'm OK with whatever you decide, might want to read the reviews linked to decide.

Kids is definately a doc, I'm pretty sure 'Soul Power' would be comparable to either Monterey Pop or Woodstock in terms of structure etc. 'Stop Making Sense' & 'Last Waltz' are both concert films that exhibited theatrically. 'This Is It', 'Kilburn', 'Wight' to the best of my knowledge, never exhibited theatrically, but neither did about 50% of the titles you show.

I just noticed you don't have Gimme Shelter, definately a doc (a celebrated one at that), not "just" a concert film. I'm OK with whatever you decide, might want to read the reviews linked to decide.
