The USA one looked fine to me, really detailed with the close ups etc, but I did watch it on a pretty small TV, and am quite new to BD so may not be noticing bad transfers yet!... This site has different reviews for the video quality for the Canadian and US releases of the films, are they actually different or just had two different people review the same film and give it different ratings? In fact, I'm sure that the video review has been changed recently, because I don't remember it being rated that low and other parts of the review refer quite positively to the video quality. Italian release sounds good, any screenshot comparisons anywhere? no English subs, or dub either? |

True. That, Dances With Wolves and Unforgiven are in a class of their own. Then again I'm not a big John Wayne fan, so I'm biased in my opinion. Some of his Westerns could be classified in this category as well.
