Mine also came from Amazon as a combo pack. What's a great surprise is they put the Digital Copy on the DVD disc like they did with Coraline. Slipcover is awesome, metallic and textured embossed. Someone already uploaded pics of the cover so I guess I won't(also don't know how).

Bought on a blind buy with a Target PM at Best Buy this afternoon. Just finished watching it with my mother. I thought it was amazing, she was bored out of her mind and wanted to turn it off after 40 min. Anyone thinking of blind buying this should really rent it first. As others in this thread have said it is a VERY difficult film to describe, and would be hard to recommend to someone even fully knowing their preferences. But glad I got it!!

I liked the movie. It was not as good as I wanted it to be but you cant win them all. I dont know if I should buy this now or wait for later down the road when it will be cheaper.

I waited for this to come out on Blu-ray and blind bought. I have vauge memories of reading and loving the book as a kid.

I have to say it's like no other move I've ever seen. It's certainly not for everyone but I'm happy I bought it. I wish it would have maybe been a little more emotional but it certainly struck a chord and I'm still thinking about it days after watching it. I didn't know the voice actors going in and I recommend avoiding it until after you watch because it could hurt it a bit.

8/10

Default Higglety Pigglety Pop! (short from Where the Wild Things Are)

Did anybody else find the baby and the moon disturbing? or was it just me?

Heck, the whole thing was a little weird if you ask me.

On behalf of the childrens' authors, we'll put it succinctly:
Maurice Sendak is a raving NUT.

(But hey, at least it wasn't "Nutcracker: the Motion Picture".)

I found it more disturbing that it was made for children.

Bummed they didn't include the amazing arcade fire trailer. A work of art in my opinion. Anyone know where I can see the trailer on another blu-Ray?

Really love the way it says Blu Ray on the slipcover. So random and awesome.

It took me a week to see if I was going to buy the movie. I got off work today went to wal-mart to pick it up only because it was 1:30am. They were out and it was $29.99. I wish I got it on Tuesday when I had the chance. I guess i will be waiting for a sale later on.

I rented this and Ponyo this week and bought 2012. Out of the three I liked Ponyo the best (amazing animation). I thought 2012 was pretty good too. As for the Wild things well I did like it ok but I dont think I would watch it again. I totally understand it but I cant relate to all the dark pessimistic mood. The book was one of my favorites growing up though and they nailed the look perfectly.

ok for a 6 year old? She is just getting into more "live action" movies rather than just Pixar and Disney style movies.
