I just got home, so I'll catch the final 50 laps, they are racing to beat the rain, so hopefully it'll be better than whatever the rest of the race looked like.

Read that Jr. broke an axle...if he didn't have bad luck he wouldn't have any at all.

Edit: Johnson wins...surprise surprise.

48th win, ties for 12th all time.

Junior broke an axle IN THE PITS. The jack man dropped the right side and KAPOW! Terrible luck...

Johnson MUST have a horseshoe up his ass because the timing of that caution put him out front with about 30 or so to go. Headed out of the pits as the yellow flies, he beats first place Burton (on the track) who has slowed for the caution. Everyone else needs to pit, Johnson already done. A few get pinned a lap down. Harvick closes with three left, hits the wall when making his move, and drifts back which allows Johnson to coast to victory. Unbelievable.

I've learned to never say never with Johnson. It's never over until the checkered flag flies for him.

I think it's time for California to lose a race..the track was half empty yesterday. I know times are tough but even in good times that place was never full..

Whatever they do to appease the folks in Kentucky, PLEASE do NOT take a Martinsville race away. There isn't enough short track racing as it is.

I'm not a fan of Mville.

I love Bristol and Richmond though.

As long as Atlanta, Dega, Daytona, Bristol and Richmond keep two dates, I'm fine

I like all those tracks but I think Atlanta only needs one race..the track has been half empty for both races for years. The racing is decent enough but it is just another D shaped oval..

One of these days I need to go to a Richmond race. My favorite short track.

I'm just a fan of short track racing in general, and I like all three tracks that they race at, as they all have their unique flair. I haven't made it to M'ville yet, but I've been to the fall race at both Bristol and Richmond. They are both awesome in their own right, but I would say I slightly prefer Bristol. On restarts it usually takes the leader ~10 laps to catch the rear of the field, and then things look like a giant conveyor belt. You can also see everything from both tracks anywhere you sit as well, unlike the larger 1.5+ mile tracks.

Junior's looking pretty sporty so far at Vegas. I believe he was 9th in the first practice, then goes out and qualifies 4th. Let's just hope that the bad luck is finally behind him.

Didn't see a lot of the race..(watching the olympics) but Harvick finished 2nd...again. But we are leading points.

3 Hendrick cars finish in the top 5 ..and one of them isn't Dale Jr...

The only car that was on par with Johnson takes two tires on the last stop when they take four. Johnson assumes the lead after a few laps and coasts to victory again. Unbelievable!

Why not watch tricycle racing?

Yellow flags so the drivers can rest?

Steel cage and fenders for protection?

No gear changes?

Real MEN dont need four wheels to do 200+ mph sideways
