I simply don't know how to give a star rating for either.

You should experience it with the audio.

You are not the same after seeing it.

As you watch it you get somewhat bewildered and amused, then it gets creepy and unnerving for some reason.

Then later on it becomes a psycological nightmare, didn't finish it though...

Actually, yes, it reminds me of Frank from "Donnie Darko." Only now he reproduced!

Yes, "Pleseantville" is brilliant! Go watch it!

I almost didnt make it to the end. Its a long, exhausting, grueling experience for sure.

It's like Boot Camp..... I survived it. Phew.

I also see it as a challenge to finish it, don't get me wrong I really want to.
My cousin and I had to stop it, we were both very intrigued, but we felt like crap because it is deeply unnerving, we looked at each other and agreed to stop it and laughed about it.

Rec 2 was ok, was very different storywise from the first one, worth the watch but not as good as the first.

Didn't think much to The Descent 2 though, just the same as the first. They just crammed in scene after scene of claustrophobic parts seeing as it worked so well in the first. But I definitely wouldn't compare it to Alien and Aliens. I didn't get the ending either .

With The Descent being one of my favorite horror movies of all time (Friday the 13th being #1), I was very disappointed to hear they were making a sequel. After reading the reviews I will end up seeing it. Everyone seems to agree it was vastly inferior but a fun horror movie none-the-less.

Have not seen Rec or Rec 2 but did see Quarantine, which was great! Just waiting for the Blu's on Rec and Rec 2. Heard both are excellent.

Up in the Air

Movie 4.5/5
PQ 4.5/5
AQ 4.5/5

Much better than I expected it to be. It shows how much the world has changed over the last decade.

The Hurt Locker

Movie 4.5/5
PQ 5/5
AQ 5/5

I don't like the genre. That said, it's a brilliant movie. The tension lasts throughout the entire two hours. Probably a pretty accurate interpretation of modern warfare.

Hope that I don't piss too many people off with this but.....
My wife & I FINALLY watched "The Hurt Locker" last night and.....I wasn't too impressed I mean...it was a good movie....but by NO MEANS a phenominal one woth a "Best Picture" nod!!! Sorry I guess that I was expecting soooo much more with all of the hype that this film has been receiving. It left me feeling a little disappointed Oh well...

I'd give it a 3/5

What would have made it better? Are you more a fan of action scenes than the psychology, or did you just think it was all badly done?

I thought that the movie was put together VERY well. I just can't put my finger on it I think that I just didn't care for the main character too much...I mean i wasn't on EDGE for him....I didn't really care if he lived or died I know that sound awful but...that's what I felt!

Well you can't be wrong...it's your opinion

I had a negative reaction to District 9 because
[Show spoiler]I hated the negative treatment the aliens received
, but I guess that was the point. Well done because it made me react strongly as it was meant to. Just not enjoyable as a story for me.
