The blu-ray stills looks leagues better than any of the DVDs so I am happy enough with it.

I sure as hell will double-dip for Predator. I've gotten smarter over the years. I didn't buy T2 unitl the Skynet Edition came out, but I was young and naive when I bought Predator

Predator will be double-dipped at some point, but I would not expect it in the next couple of years. Fox has not been the most aggressive studio on rehashing movies on Blu-ray.

I've been holding off forever on Predator because I can't stand the grain in the current release. If they release a remastered version, it'll be a day-one purchase for me.

Good point, the only popular Blu-ray that I can think of is X3: The Last Stand. Seems to be the only big title blu-ray done by FOX, that I can think of, that has been double-dipped.

Still... I have feeling, Predator will be re-issued very soon. I believe someone said it was getting re-released in Russia on July 22. USA can't be too far behind... I hope

The current release for Predator is actually petty decent. Unless anyone knows of an upcoming re-release I'd say just grab this version. The price is good on it anyways.

This is for Eastern Europe: - I know from someone inside the firm that owns the rights from Fox that In Romania (if you care) Predator Ultimate Hunter Edition it's scheduled for July 14th along with Kalifornia and Runaway Jury. Those last two I believe are not announced yet in North America. And a little of topic if someone likes Robots (I know I do), also not announced yet, it's scheduled for April 5th , and Robocop 2 on december (again Romania).

Well Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown have been released overseas for a loooong time now and we still haven't seen any glimpse of a FIRST release in the States. So my point is, just because other countries are getting a release soon doesn't mean the US is too.

Well, first thanks for the reply, and i see you're point, but that not what i tried to do, I know some movies are released in Europe before US, I just wanted to announce that if you like those movies you may want to know their release dates for preorder. I also know that some of you US residents preorder from UK mainly (not me, I check several sites from Czech Republic, Hungary...etc - subtitles reason), that why I thought a heads-up will be nice.

if you have the 2disc dvd edition then just keep disc 2 and use the blu as disc one.
