Reason I asked is because I was at Bestbuy and purchased God of war collection and God of war 3 and saved 10$ on the collection. I had a Bestbuy Coupon for 10% off a regular price Item and they told me I could either have one or the other but not both.
Will target let buy both toy story 1 and 2 with the 10$ for buying both + the manufacturers coupon? Is there anything I can say to them if they say I have to choose between one or the other? |

I read and on this coupon says nowhere can not be combined with any other offer. All it says is that Buena Vista will reimburse you the face value of this coupon plus 8 cents handling etc.

As to Target excepting both my guess is they will. Since the $10 off both is their deal, even if I think Disney is doing it because everyone has this deal. And their policy states you can use one of their coupons and one manufacturer coupon at the sametime. |

You need to keep reading it is there in the last line of the small print.

don't worry targets policy is one target coupon and 1 manufacturers coupon, the $10 off is their own deal so stacking a manufacturers coupon on top is no biggie, happens all the time.

So I would think the coupon should be able to be used. And right now every store seems to be running the $10 off if you buy both. And I cannot think that is what Disneys intent was to give everyone the coupon and then put it up as well. |

The fine print on both coupons does say they "may not be... used in conjunction with any other offer"; however, that's usually read to mean other manufacturer's coupons on the same item--NOT in-store offers, NOT store coupons, NOT manufacturer's coupons on other items in the same order. (Edit: Target's coupon policy--one manufacturer's coupon AND one store coupon per item--is consistent with this.)
As I understand them, the combo deals at Target, TRU & BB are all in-store markdowns; they do NOT render the coupons invalid, nor do the coupons render the markdowns invalid. They CAN be combined. Last edited by RBBrittain; 03-18-2010 at 08:47 PM. Reason: Expand |

What you do is...
Let the cashier ring both of them up. The computer will automatically deduct the $10. Then play dumb and say, "oh yeah... I have these coupons". He/She scans them, you pay your $20 + tax and walk out the door. ![]() |

I think it should work. Using manufacturer's coupons on sale items work for everything else such as shampoo, soap, food, etc. Why not blu rays?

Follow this method, as it minimizes questions with compliant cashiers.

Sorry, haven't been following the whole TS deal until now. I got my 2-$5 off coupons and plan to hit Target next week. Is the Target deal ($10 off if you buy both) something automatic, or is there a Target coupon floating around out there? Assume it's just a deal when you purchase both.

Cause once you buy BOTH to get the $10 and use one of the $5 coupons you now just used one STORE coupon and one MANUFACTURER coupon within that one sale. Meaning you cannot use both $5 coupons in one sale. other wise that would be one STORE and TWO manufacturer coupons. That's my understanding. though some people will be able to finagle their way into getting both $5 coupons and the $10 I doubt it will work in most cases. |

Why is this so hard for some people to understand? As several people have already stated, you can use one Target coupon and one mfr coupon PER ITEM. Therefore there will be NO problem using the Target promo, then the two $5 coupons for the two movies. And it's been done/confirmed many many times on previous titles. End of argument.

The $10 discount doesn't factor in since it's not even a "Target coupon" (i.e., clipped from the ad, printed from the website, or from a store receipt); but even if it were a Target coupon, it's still allowable with the Disney coupons.
