Default Onkyo TX-SR607 or Yamaha RX-V765BL which one to buy?

both are on sale at newegg.com for $400. I cant decide which one to get. For those with better knowledge on these recievers which one is the better buy and why. Thanks for all of you input

the yammy, it's got multichannel inputs & multichannel pre-outs so it gives you the best upgrade path for seperates. you could easily add a true high power amp down the road to step your game up when ready. all your HD codecs are covered for bitstreaming and you are ready for multichannel analog in should you need it or want it. despite the fact that i love Onkyo, between the two, the yammy wins.

take it from the Onkyo man, in this case, go with the Yammy!
