Default please help buying new tv

Hi every one I'm about to purchase a new tv I debating between the panasonic plasma TC-58S1 and the samsung LED UN55B7000 I been reading about the problems with the black levels on the panny but also some people complain about the clouding and flashlighting on the samsung, what problem seems to be worst? The price on the samsung is $1798 + tax but I can get the panny for about the same price plus four years protection plan fron best buy witch one should I purchase?

thanks

Ubaldo

I also notice the panny won't suport 24p while playing movies how important is the 24p playback?

All things being equal, I'd go for the one that is 24p capable because there will be less jutter resulting from the 3:2 pulldown.

However, things are not equal here, the Panny is better.

You can't beat plasma and Panasonic has the best plasma currently available.
