I watched this week's episode finally. Wasn't great imo, compared to the humor and the warm-and-fuzzy ending they pulled off in the earlier Russian mother episode; that ending blew me away. It was nice to see Alexis at the precinct, but I agree her whole teen idol concept was a stretch. I have higher hopes for next week's episode.

I still think this is the best new show of '09! It hits a number of different demographics and delivers on all levels. Very entertaining show. Nathan Fillion deserves an Emmy nod!

I loved Season One. Season Two started out with a shift to a lighter tone that was fine. But I've felt stories and the leads' wit got weaker as this season progressed. I didn't find Jonathan Frakes episode especially entertaining either. But last night's ep imo was a definitely winner in tone and with its clever homicide case with the ending always changing. I hope it continues more like that for the ones that follow.

The only episode I've been anything but very happy with was the teenage female singer episode. Other than that, I thought they've been great.

FYI, just watched Stiletto, starring Stana Katic. For a little, indie, mobster/revenge flick, it really wasn't bad. Lots of familiar faces, too.

Castle and Fringe are my favorite two new shows. Warner is rocking TV on Blu-ray. Disney needs to step it up. I bet Blu-ray sales would have been great. Since Season 1 was only 10 episodes they should add it as a bonus with season 2 to entice the DVD buyers to upgrade and make nice with the Blu-ray crowd. I wonder if Joss Whedon knew about the Halloween episode or watched it like us? I haven't rewound a scene and laughed that hard in a while. Great stuff.

It was the original season finale. There was 13 episodes planned and they shot all 13, but it got picked up for another 9 episodes. It was a fantastic episode! Mondays are great! Chuck and Castle for the win!

I thought it was good. Not as good as last weeks for sure. but certainly good as their first two parter.

Considering this show already was looking at a very likely renewal last night's ratings sure didn't hurt it's chances.

'Castle' hits series high
