Well hopefully they see that the transfer should've been better and will now re-master it for a re-release later this year. Sure would be nice.

If they sent the people who bought this release free replacements, I would agree with you.

How so? As Kenneth Brown said, WB is not allowing reviewers to post screen grabs of the blus but is instead sending them studio approved pictures for use.

Man, this is odd. Didnt we go through this twice (?) already with WB?

I just think it's weird that it does not apply to other WB titles.

I am not trying to suggest any koo-koo conspiracy theories, I just find it peculier.

It's very pre-cautious of them to not allow to show screenshots...
Seems like they want to prevent bad publicity... obviously,
to of course sell more BDs cause people will want to see anyway.
The same you see on the 'Batman Anthology', there are no screenshots on this website.
Except for the Anniversary Edition DigiBook of 'Batman' for some reason...

He's exaggerating. While all reviewers(except him) agree that these could've looked better, they all exceed their DVD counterparts by a good deal. 1 looks the worst, 2 looks better and 3 looks the best.

The review itself is still online, so if the movies look like crap people will still know about it.

I think they pulled something like this for the Batman Anthology didn't they?

Pics or it didn't happen! WB knows that even if the reviews are unfavorable, people will still buy the movies to judge for themselves if they don't see photo evidence of the transfers. Sneaky...

This is not the way to handle this. If there are problems, which there appear to be, then they need to face them not try and hide them.
The waters around LoTR were already shark infested and then WB pulls this which is throwing chum into the water.

HOWEVER, as Jeff Kleist and Ken Brown both said, storming WB with pitchforks is not the answer. The quickest way to be heard and to get results is to give WB calm, constructive feedback.

Unfortunately, your analogy is quite accurate. They have added to the turbulence.
