Sorry, I was refering to those that stopped making BDs. If its just Paramount then thats not too bad.

then what's the reason for Weinstein not releasing HD DVD all these months? The last title was like 5 months ago.

Are you telling me a "contract" is preventing them from releasing HD DVD too?

There is a press conference. Whether anything new or meaningful is going to be there is unknown, and considering it starts in 14min, be a little patient

Just wondering, does Warner have a history to call press conferences just to anounce Release schedules? I don't mind if they do, just curious

It's standard to do before Christmas. A "look at our keen new stuff" session and they usually give the attendees a bag of goodies

It's being framed as an emergency meeting by the HDers, but that's not the case at all.

If there's anything really good a press release will go out at 2PM and we'll see it

If it isn't web cast here is a page for all of their press releases when they come out. From this page just select "PRESS ROOM" and "Search".

I have no doubt whatsoever that if Penton did have a tell-tale limp, he would have fought through the pain and walked normally to not give himself away.

If I did meet Penton this week, then I am completely clueless about it.

He was the guy in the really expensive suit surrounded by all the beautiful women. I think he may have actually been giving away money. You may not have seen him because he is so magnifcent that our human eyes cannot see or behold his glory.
