I could see Sony doing the double dip on this one. 2011 is the 10 year anniversary of the movie. Also the current release of BHD is using an older video codec that could be changed to the better one and I could also see them going Dolby TrueHD(current release has Uncompressed PCM). All the special features from the 3 disc dvd set would be nice. There was some REALLY good stuff on that dvd set.

I personally do not own BHD yet on BD and I will be waiting till next sometime next year to see if a better release is on the way for the 10th anniversary of the movie.

By the way there is nothing wrong with the current release.

I think you are right on all accounts except one, Sony will use DTS MA

Maybe. They went with Dolby TrueHD when they double dipped Casino Royale though, so thats kinda what I am using as a reference.

They were using True HD at that point but switched to DTS MA back in December 09 or before.
