I want to see Homer's story developed into a movie. I know its done before, still The Odyssey didn't make it to the silver screens yet.

The Story of a father's voyage, and his son's quest
[Show spoiler](Telemachus didn't have a quest until the end of the story.)
Still its a good myth to be told.

Clash will top Troy and Gladiator no problem, and will probably top 300 in the end.

I haven't seen Troy, but of the other three though, Gladiator is by far the best. I liked Clash and 300 was decent but I would never watch it again.

I disagree, with the word of mouth that Clash of the Titans is getting, I would say the highest gross domestically will best around the $160M-$170M, below 300 and Gladiator but I'm pretty sure it will top Troy. As for worldwide remains to be seen.

Gladiator-10/10
Troy (DC)-9/10

Its already at about $110M domestic in 2 weeks, there's no way it drops off that much for the rest of its run.

3D ticket prices will help ease the fall a decent amount.

It'll most likely hit those numbers by mid-week next week.

1) Gladiator - No contest, best movie out of the 4.

2) 300 - An entertaining movie that gets a bad rap most times.

3) Troy - Ugh. What a disgrace to the Illiad. I love the Illiad too much to enjoy this movie.

4) Clash of the Titans - Original was great (though cheesey). Remake was all around disappoiting.

2/4 isn't bad

I like Troy the best. My order goes like so:

1) Troy
2) Gladiator
3) 300 (some parts were over the top stupid)
4) Clash of the Titans. (They must not of spent much time on the script)

Gladiator is one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. With that said here is my list:

1. Gladiator, by a long shot.
2. 300. I love this movie but it pales in comparison to Gladiator.
3. Troy. This movie is ok.

I haven't seen Titans yet.

The quality of the blu-rays is actually part of my ranking, which is why I would put Troy ahead of Gladiator anyway. Plus, the fighting in Troy is a bit less stylized and there are a lot more gorgeous women as well.

Gladiator 5/5

Troy 3/5 (I just couldn't suspend disbelief with Pitt as Achillies. the acting was too forced and over the top)

300 3/5 (great action, not so great supporting plot/acting back in sparta)

Gladiator

300

Troy (I actually just watched this for my first time this past weekend. Wasn't to impressed, but there were some sweet kill scenes. Just no where near as good as the other two I thought)

Clash of the Titans was garbageeeee.

Gladiator
Kingdom of Heaven
Troy
300

I agree that Ridley Scott's DC of "Kingdom of Heaven" should be included here grossed over $200 million and had a $147 million budget an easy 2nd best on my list. Haven't seen the new Clash of the Titans yet, but, it is on my todo list

With all this praise for Kingdom of Heaven, I may have to blind buy the blu soon, despite my dislike of Orlando Bloom.

Kingdom of Heaven DC is great! I'd put it on par with Gladiator/Braveheart as far as the epics go. Fleshes out the story and characters more, and fills in the gaps left in the theatrical cut.

I actually think that would be a fantastic sequel to Troy, seriously doubt it'll ever happen though. It's been far too long since I've seen a recent movie with Sean Bean wielding a sword.
