Default SyFy to move it's original programming from Fridays starting in the Fall

Stargate Universe, Caprica and Sanctuary will be moving to tuesdays after September 30th. The reason being is that viewers are higher than, and they have Friday night smackdown starting October 1rst.

Interesting.

As much as I like sci-fi/horror films (mostly what they show) their movies are terrible! Haha! man I am still laughing at those Piranha, Shark, Octopuss films I watched over the weekend. How do they get away with such terrible films? Got Em!!

They're cheap. And some of em get decent viewers. Their shows are mostly great and sell really well though.

My question is why in the hell did they start showing wrestling? I don't see the logic in their ways.

Interesting.
September only has 30 days.

While it is true that there are more viewers on Tuesdays than Fridays, there is also more competition. Most of the networks have practically given up on Friday programming and show reruns or news shows.

*coughs* you are right.

I meant the 30th.

I honestly don't get SYFY's logic either way.

Huh, smart move I think. Never made much sense to me to only show original programming on Friday nights in the death slot. Though my Tuesdays are generally my DVR's biggest work load, so Tuesdays probably won't work for me. Though I only watch SGU at this point and who knows I will probably have quit by October anyways.

Hey hey now, Justified just hasn't hit it's stride it'll get there. I've never been a big Sci-fi fan, this is the first sci-fi show i've probably ever watched besides Caprica, and well if it wasn't for Alessandra I would have given up on that after like 4 episodes, lol. It just doesn't captivate me. When the episode ends I don't even think about it again till it shows up on my DVR the next week, lol. I can only name 2 characters on the show, Rush and Young and thats only cause those are really the only names ever spoken, and I've seen every episode of it haha. After the season finale, I'll probably just lose interest and forget it ever existed. That's how I roll.

You fail.

Caprica got a bit better in episode 10. I'll let you know if it gets a ton better when it returns.

Justified isn't bad, just REALLY dissapointing. I'm not going to watch anymore of it. But let me know if it does find it's stride cause I'll come right back to it!

They have been showing ECW (now a different show called NXT) for around 5 years now.

The channel has been wanting to move away from science fiction-based material for quite awhile now. The success of Battlestar delayed that movement, but it would not surprise me if they eventually drop all sci-fi programming.

Hey SyFy network if you are trying to ditch Sci-fi content, might wanna reconsider your name, lol.

Oh did you miss that interview?? I laughed cause right after he was on a talk show on Castle, he was on Kimmel the same night. He told this awesome story about the things he buys on the internet, and one of them was a light saber that made sound effects and everything, and he said that he keeps it by his front door for home protection. Anyways after a party one night, as he was walking his last female guest to her car he looked up the street and about 7 houses down he saw a guy standing outside playing in his front yard with a light saber, and that he was quite good with it. Nathan was so excited that he ran upstairs and got his, and than ran back down the street and stopped just before getting to this guy, and hid the light saber behind his back and did some crazy Darth Maul pose and revealed it, and he said the guys reply was just deadpanned "What is that? Is that Anakin's?" and Nathan was really bummed cause he thought it was gonna be this awesome meeting and he was gonna have fun and a light saber battle, and the kid wasn't the least bit shocked he just looked like it happened all the time. So Nathan was really disappointed lol. Where the hell was someone with their cell phone camera when this was going down?!?! Kimmel joked that Nathan is probably the only adult man in America who owns a light saber, and still has women come over to his house.
