Sony is bringing Oscar winning Glory and a catalog favorite Tailor of Panama to the show on Feb 6. No specs are released yet.

For some odd reason, I never saw this movie. I'll definitely be picking this one up.

Glory - very good story- and performance-wise and great sound too. LPCM 5.1 or DTS HDMA at 24/48 please.

Tailor - quirky interesting story. More drama instead of action. Don't be deceived by the trailer. This movie was also the first time I saw the young Daniel Radcliffe.

Sony has GOT to be releasing more movies out of their vault. Or have other studios taken its turn on the replication machine?

A poster who claims to be an insider with Sony on another forum (hometheater forum) claims Sony will have several "A" list titles announced at CES for the first half of 06. He claims Sony has heard the complaints and will react accordingly. Let's hope so. It makes sense to me with almost no Sony releases on the horizon maybe it is the calm before the storm.

Good. I hope so. I still think they need maybe a handful of Christmas surprises to put it over the top.

Ah, Glory is a great film, but I've never gotten around to getting it on DVD - I still only have it on VHS

BTW, I've never seen Talior of Panama.

I'm willing to bet Sony will time the release of the Spidey Blu-Ray's with the Spiderman 3 theatrical release.
