Ironically the only two characters on the show I could live without are Sookie and Vampire Bill. They are soooooo boring. Eric FTW!

Yeah, yeah, waiting sucks. That much we know. But the slow march toward True Blood’s June 13 return is made slightly easier thanks to HBO’s cheeky 12-part teaser poster campaign. Here’s an exclusive first look at the fifth poster in the series, a clever takeoff on the ’80s milk carton craze. While light on spoilers, the image does contain a few intriguing nuggets. Okay, it contains one intriguing nugget: Bill weighs 165 pounds! Who knew?!

Reminds me a lot of the Buffy comic, but you can easily tell who's who based on that image. Even if they made Sookie attractive for the first time, lol.

Yeah everyone looks pretty much the same but Sookie looks really different.

After tonight's repeat, HBO debuted two new clips, one being a brand new promo with Sookie shooting Eric with a revolver as he dove in her house, possibly the living room, but obviously the bullet ain't gonna do much to him. Than after that, they showed a cool new promo inside a True Blood bottling plant that followed the bottles down a conveyor belt to a sorter, and than you saw they all had the Missing Bill Compton label on em that I posted up earlier last week.

Yup, they're not done. HBO released a new one sheet for the third season of "True Blood" that features a look at a new kind of Band-Aid, one they like to call the "Vamp Stamp". There has been a lot of build-up and anticipation for the third season of the Alan Ball series, which is adding a lot of new blood: new cast members Denis O'Hare, Marshall Allman, Kevin Alejandro, Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler, Joe Manganiello, Lindsay Pulsipher, Brit Morgan and Cooper Huckabee, as well as J. Smith-Cameron and veteran Alfre Woodard.

Anybody else LOVE the new promo with Eric and Pam hiring new strippers. Everybody is sooooo horrible, until that russian goddess walks in, but Eric doesn't make her dance, he obviously had other ideas for her.

Why Katee Sackhoff said no to 'True Blood'

The upcoming third season of True Blood will feature werewolves, same-sex crushes, threesomes, and a new king. But here’s one thing you won’t find on the HBO phenom when it returns next month: Katee Sackhoff. It’s not for lack of trying on the show’s part though. Allow me to explain…

Sackhoff, who clocked out of 24 earlier this week in dramatic fashion, was approached to play the pivotal season 3 role of Alcide’s psycho ex, Debbie Pelt. Ultimately, the Battlestar Galactica badass passed, opting instead to join Goran Visnjic and Nia Long in ABC’s cop-themed drama pilot Boston’s Finest. (The role of Debbie ended up going to ex-Middleman star Brit Morgan.) Why turn down a sure thing — not to mention one of the hottest shows on the tube — for a project that may not see a second episode?

“I am a huge fan of True Blood,” Sackhoff responds. “It’s a phenomenal show and [exec producer] Alan Ball is a f—ing genius. But I wanted more security than one season of something, so I rolled the dice with [Boston's Finest]. This entire business is about rolling the dice and hoping you made the right decision. I almost didn’t take 24 to do my own series on USA Network, and that worked out. I’m sure [Brit] is going to be fantastic [as Debbie].”

Sackhoff, who plays a female detective in the ABC procedural, will find out in two weeks if Boston is a go. How is she feeling about its chances? “I have no idea,” she admits. “The one thing I do know is that we have a phenomenal cast and a fantastic script. We have on paper everything we needed to create something fantastic.”

I was just making that up, I've never even seen the Buffy comic lol. Must have been a Blue Meth day again.....

BTW, why is nobody else here hyped about this show, it starts up in just a little over 4 weeks. I think I'm the only person watching the repeats on Sunday nights getting back into my Bon Temps groove.
