I have a question that I hope other Paradigm Owners can help me with.

About a month ago I got a deal on a mint condition Paradigm Studio Series cc-570 v.3 Center Speaker.
I am running it off of a Rotel Amp Bridged to Mono.

I need to get two front speakers that would be a closer tonal match then what I have now(Polk Audio TSi400's).
I plan on adding another amp to power the front speakers first(unless I happen upon a deal of a lifetime,as I did with the cc-570).

Would any of the speakers in the Paradigm Family work well as Fronts with my center?
Such as a pair of Titans(or other Monitor Series)or even the Special Edition One Speakers.

This would probably be on a temporary basis of four or more months, until I can find and afford a pair of Studio 10,20,or 60's v.3 or v.5 to become my permanent Fronts.

Then I could move the Titans,Monitor 7's,Special Edition Ones to Surround Duty(As I have 4 Klipsch S2 Bipole Surrounds now).

Would the Monitors or SE's be a big enough improvement over the Polks(as far as a Tonal Match)to be worth taking this step?

Because my system is also becoming used as much for music as movies(SACD/CD/AAC256).

So if anyone has tried a set up like this,or have heard one;Any and All Help would be Sincerely Appreciated.

As the Sound,Clarity,Detail, and Depth; of the Paradigm cc-570 is Amazing.
So eventually I would love a full 7 channel Paradigm Set-up and possibly a Paradigm sub or two,as well.

My budget is limited, and that is why I am asking if Titans,Monitor7's,SE-1's; would help me gain a better overall sound during the next 4 or more months.

Again,Thanks for any Comments,Opinions,Advice,or Info.

Absolutely you can use any of the above as a temporary solution then move them around to the back and use them as rears. I use a Studio front end and small Atoms for the side and ADP's in the rear - my Studios are V1 the Atoms are V5 and the ADPs I believe are V2.

Thank You Sincerely for the Help and the reply.

That makes me feel much better. Now that I know I can have a better balance up front, much sooner then if I were to save up,and wait to find some Studio 20's or 60's(v.3 or other)for sale.

Again,Thank You for the reply. And Very Nice System.
Love the PS-1(SCPH-1001).I also have one I want to add the Cardas Cables to,and see what type of audio performance I get.

My speakers are taking forever as well. I ordered the cc690 and the Studio 60's in rosenut March 30 and have only recieved the center channel with no word when the towers will be coming. Maybe they had more orders than expected before April 1. Every other time I have ordered Paradigms the longest it took was one week. I thought being in Ontario I would get them just as quick, well hopefully soon. The cc690 is awesome, though my 20's can't keep up with it. I thought my cc 590 v5 would sell faster, two weeks and only 2 low ball offers.

Sorry to here you are in the same boat. I think my dealer put my order in on the 29th. Hold out for a better offer on your CC 590

How tight the sound was at those high levels, i could hear my self talk but the sound was really really crisp. In addition most speakers sound cluttered, its not a bad thing if you can still tell the difference in each sound but these speakers sound like it was a separate speaker for each instrument. It was really amazing, and bought me. The next speakers i get will be either the studio 60's or the monitor 9's. I was really impressed with the AQ. Once again i wanted to rip out my car speakers lol.

That's how I felt when I demoed the Sig 8's today (piano gloss finish). But for $5000 each...I think I can live without them. I still would like to rip out my Bose speakers from my car though.

I love a speaker that can handle the separation of the highs, mids and lows, and this is exactly what sold me on th Paradigms I bought. They may just be the Monitor 7's v.3, but I can hear a significant improvement in the dynamic range that they could provide...only leaving me wondering how well would the most current Studio line sound.

Man they sound so tight and inline with the music, its ridiculous, like i said unless i hear something better thats my pic all day. All around they are superb, nice finishes(for the wife and furniture), and great speaker style also.

It's worth the wait if Paradigm is the sound that appeals to you. With a proper amp and sub(s) you will enjoy the Studio 60s very much. A year isn't too long to wait. They will look awesome next to your Samsung Plasma. Have you thought of which centre you would like? My recommendation would be the 690.

yeah i was just going to match it with whatever model paradigm site recommends. But i will take your advice into consideration. This Samsung plasma wont be anywhere near those speakers. Thats like driving a Aston Martin but living in a apartment . Im matching these speakers with a Mistubishi 1080p DLP projector. Gotta do it big, or don't do it at all right

The 690 would be my choice too....make sure you have room for it though, it is freakin' huge!

yeah i just thought about how big these speakers are, depending on the size of my next place i might just have to settle for the monitor 7's. But don't get me wrong they are great too from what i hear.
