Have you seen the Excel limited edition, DVD of 'Parineeta'? Believe me none of the titles listed by you, are as good as that.

Excel Home Video, made the following statement, in response to my query regarding any differences between their BD and the US Region A BD.

Although, I personally found the quality of the Excel Blu-ray of Avatar to be excellent, many have asked the question regarding the difference in quality between the Excel BD and the Fox BD released in the US. There is speculation whether the same masters have been used for both releases or have you used your own maste...rs? Specially since the running time mentioned for the Fox BD is 166 minutes whereas the Excel BD has a running time of 161 minutes. Could you please comment on this.

Excel Home Video:
There is no difference whatsoever, except the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dub languages in 5.1 Dolby Digital in addition to English in HD Master in the India BD.

The US BD of Avatar has it's share of additional audio tracks too.
English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1
English: Dolby Digital 5.1
English: Dolby Digital 2.0
Spanish: Dolby Digital 5.1
French: Dolby Digital 5.1
Portuguese: Dolby Digital 5.1

no i hav not got a chance to see that bt dealer near my house says he will try to arrange it so looking fwd 2 it.........

I compared the US 'Region A' BD released by Fox with the Excel BD of 'Avatar' and to my eyes and ears, there is no difference at all. I am quite sure both BDs have been authored from the same master. Also, the running time of 02:46 on both BDs, is identical. Which means the running time listed here, on Blu-ray.com, is incorrect. I am used to seeing a lot of incorrect information posted here on Indian BDs, but I had always thought that atleast the Hollywood BD information was accurate. I guess not.

Finally got it today
Checked the print and sound and it totally ROCKS will watch the full movie in the weekend.

But today in the store I also saw Blu-rays of Rann by Mosar Baer. So are these the new remastered ones? Can anyone here be able to tell this? Because when I asked the Planet M guy he had no idea

Nope. There is no remastered Rann BD, atleast not yet.
