The Wal-mart by me has a 2.75:1...well let's call it a 3:1, Blu-ray to HD-DVD ratio.

With those glasses he looks like a typical HD-DVD viewer.

I am going with all 5 separately because your suspicions are correct. I found out that the box set counts as 1 on the Nielsen chart, whereas the 5 separates count as 5. That's five times the sales ratio.

Spread the word to go with 5 separates as opposed to the box set, if people can.

I think you all mean "Hara-Kiri", often meant as "Seppuku"

Default Warner supporting both throughout 08....

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...construed/1135

Warner is planning on supporting both throughout 2008

Warner Says Blu-ray Comments "Misquoted and Misconstrued"

Lets finally lay our hopes aside and concentrate on supporting blu.

"Like any major company, we are always reviewing our strategies in every aspect of our business, it is what smart companies do. I can't say what may happen five, ten years down the line. But right now, Warner Bros. has made no decision to change course. We are still onboard with both formats, and will continue [with a strong line-up of new releases and catalog titles], just as we have in the past in supporting HD DVD and Blu-ray."

WTF! I guess they got cold feet. I mean they already said Q4 is going to be a big factor for them in deciding what format to support. I think it is a mistake to continue with both.
So what if they are not going to this year, they should next year for sure! They don't realize how important to the format war they are. They can make or break the war.

Warner's previous statements were taken literally. I truly believe that the company was truly considering switching to Blu.

I think they got cold feet... hot under the collar.. they don't want to commit just yet and maybe even have an offer to stay neutral...
Either way they don't realize how important they are in this war. THEY ALONE could end the war if they wanted to. But if they do nothing it will just drag on and on. They have to take a hit for the better format and drop HD-DVD!
I still think they will see the sales from 4Q and realize what they SHOULD do. I sure hope they go exclusive to BD next year, or this will be a long battle, or even a draw.
