Yeah, but Dax actually isn't the worst for me, it's Julia that hasn't done anything. She's basically letting this Buddhist screw her husband and not do much about it, lol. And Dax well...........I never thought I'd see a time when I wished I could be him for a day, than I found out he's engaged to my Kristen Bell...........

I enjoy this show. Never seen the movie so had no idea about any references to it.

The only theory I have is that sooner or later Drew (the teenage "masturbator" boy) will come out of the closet. I just pick up these mannerisms from him that would suggest it.

I get the exact same vibe. Even for 15 his voice is a lot higher than it should be.

Tuesday's episode was awesome as usual, I am so happy that this will be back next year as I am just loving it. I want more Mike O'Malley on the show though, his performances have always rocked it and after the poems he wrote about Sarah's va-jay-jay come on she's gotta help the poor man out with a little more lovin' in the near future. I also like the idea of her going to Berkley they could keep Sarah in college for quite sometime, and eventually her daughter will end up there with her too in later seasons which could make for all kinds of ackwardness. Just like Adam, I think I got..........."The Fever"

Parenthood (whether the concept or the TV show) isn't a competition, but I couldn't help noticing that the parent doing the best job in "Perchance to Dream" is Crosby (and Jasmine, too). Adam freaks out over Haddie's sexuality, Sarah again tries to project all of her regrets onto Amber, and Julia took the broken mug issue way too far to overcompensate for the old lawyer=liar saw. Crosby, meanwhile, had no problem interrupting his date with Jasmine to help Jabbar through his fear of pooping in strange places, and he and Jasmine both recognized that they don't want to send the wrong message to the kid if their attempt to go from co-parents to couple doesn't work out.

Now, I'm not complaining about any of the others this week. Some of the most interesting stories on this show involve parents screwing up, as we saw with the scene where Haddie called Adam on his double-standard treatment of her. But just as no one would have expected Dax Shepard to give one of the best performances among this cast, who would have thought after the first few episodes that we might get a night where Crosby was so much more on his game than his siblings?

I don't want to give short shrift to Kristina's decision, by the way. The whole work/kids dilemma is a familiar one, in life and on TV, and Kristina has the added complication of a special needs kid. As much as she enjoyed her time back in grown-up world, I can understand her reluctance to go back full-time not long after finding out about Max's Asperger's (and not long before Haddie goes to college). And it was interesting to watch Adam throughout that scene, because you could tell he was trying to do right by his wife even as he very clearly didn't want her to go work for Sundra from "Survivor: Cook Islands."

"Perchance to Dream" was one of the show's more thematically and tonally consistent episodes. It was also a fairly light one, not only with Adam's goofy dancing, but Sarah and Amber listening in horror to Mike O'Malley's poems about Sarah's va-jay-jay, everyone else's reaction to Julia's cordoned-off area, and Drew's reaction to Haddie taking off her bra in the kitchen. Plus, Run-DMC!

Yet again we see Julia's competitive streak yet this time it was more for laughs, and her recruitment of Jabbar actually ended up being a good call, cause that kid really does look like Pele against the others. I really like Crosby and Jasmine moving closer towards becoming a couple, it just seems like the right time for them now after missing 5 years together and him completely missing everything about his son. Adam and Kristina trying to help Max overcome some of his issues, and dealing with the double standard of the "sick kid" lol.

Amber and Haddie had finally become pretty good friends in this episode only to have Amber make a terrible decision and hookup with Haddie's on that very day ex-boyfriend, which can't end well for Amber, Steve or I'm sure Sarah when word gets out. Amber seems like all she really wants to do is fit in, and this is probably the first guy to really pay attention to her in quite sometime and she broke up with Damian so was looking for someone to really see her, however she chose the wrong guy for that.

I had a feeling that during the pilot episode when Sarah found Zeke's condoms he had been lying to her. You can really tell after last night his marriage is in serious trouble now. But him moving in with Adam should make for some funny moments. I got a good laugh out of all the kids rehearsing in the car and arguing about who got to sit up front, they seemed just like they'd been fighting their whole lives with each other, great chemistry among all four of them.

I got myself caught up on episodes over the last week. I am really enjoying the show so far. It has a very good mix of drama and mature comedy.

From all the hype and non-stop promos for the show, I figured I wasn't gonna like it, but I decided to tune in for the pilot episode, and haven't missed one since. I am really enjoying the show too as you can tell from my posts. Finally have someone else in here to discuss the show with lol, it's been a little boring in this thread.

Well if Zeke is lying about money and affairs to his wife, it don't matter they've been together all this time, he's a lyin' two timin' slut!

I don't watch any of the CW shows where this happens. So I don't agree, it's what's known as Drama.

They definitely make me feel like I'm watching my own family. Everything is an argument. I can surely relate to that. The actors all have such great chemistry together.

No doubt, that's why I was very surprised and relieved when it got the 2nd season pickup. It just seemed like it was gonna be one of those great new shows that didn't make it.

Yep, It was not doing well and was rumored to be getting canned but then I think word of mouth has been getting around to how good the show is and the ratings have rebounded. I know lots of people who are just now getting into it and were like "why didn't anyone tell me about this show and how good it is?". It's starting to gain lots of fans.
