That has to be incorrect, as Bee Movie is Dreamworks animation, and will be released by Para*****.

Even worse Bee movie is from Paramount, so they have none.

I don't believe that's how things will transpire...so we'll see..

plus, Sony can survive on catalog titles for awhile and let FOX/Disney etc pick up the slack...

Sony has Vantage Point coming out in Feb 2008 with Matthew Fox, Forrest Whittaker, Dennis Quaid, and Sigourney Weaver. It's actually been getting a lot of promo time on HDNET's, Nothing But Trailers for the past few months. Bond 22 is also a 2008 release, but it wouldn't be out on Blu till early 2009

Iron Man

Who knows how well Incredible Hulk will do, but I'm sure it'll be better than the first attempt.

As for us...Disney, Warner and Newline has some damn good ones.

Golden Compass
10,000 BC
I Am Legend
Speed Racer
The Dark Knight
Harold and Kumar
Chronicles of Narnia 2
Alien Vs Predator
National Treasure

Hopefully, they will release these day in date with HDdvd's biggest hitters. Along with some back titles on those dates as well.

Either that..or as mentioned above..hopefully Universal will be neutral by then, but I doubt it.

The format war could be neck and neck next year, it if isn't over by mid 2008 that is.
the week that we actually get Batman Begins will be ours....along with The Dark Knight...

these 2 things I can guarantee...

Those will both be the same week. I'm not sure if that is what you're trying to say or not, because your wording has confused me. But whatever, yeah, that will be a good week for me.

They haven't, but logically, it would make the most sense. Release a catalog title the same day that you release the sequel. Sort of similar to what Sony did with Spiderman. If it doesn't happen like this with Batman Begins on blu-ray, I will be extraordinarily surprised. The hype for Batman Begins on blu-ray will be at its height on as the release of The Dark Knight on blu-ray nears.

While he started off referring to it's success, I think he switched to movie quality by the end.
