If you have updated firmware it should be fine...Avatar on it, typically takes about a minute, if that helps. The PQ and AQ is outstanding I gotta say! Good to hear, wafi. I'm thinking pretty hard on getting this, it's already in my cart! I noticed that it has its own speaker outputs on the back. Do you use those directly or do you have a separate audio system that this is hooked up to? Would you recommend one over the other?

Well now that I've searched it some, I've noticed 2 different back panels that come up for this model.

And I realize I probably sound silly asking about the audio out since there is HDMI but I will be using component-to-VGA so that this can be used with my Sharp HD projector.

Yeah I use the HDMI that goes to the receiver.
