I too was yelling at the TV, and I cannot remember when I last did that. The thing is I couldn't make up my mind whether or not they'd actually let Hank die, that made the whole thing even more effective. And everything leading up to that was equally amazing. From Hank beating the crap out of Jesse, opening up to Marie(how great was that scene on the bed?), not fighting his suspension and believing things might start to get better from here on out, to the harsh destruction of those dreams, this was an incredible journey for his character. I'm stunned at how compelling this guy has become, I mean who would've thought that this goofy cop would at some point almost make me shed a tear?

So much happened, impossible to talk about it all. What I wonder, of course, is who was the guy that warned Hank? And if Walt got rid of Gale because he suspected that he's just there to learn and be able to copy his recipe, or if he only did it because he needed Jesse back to calm him about the Hank thing.

A perfect episode, and whatever happens in the remaining six, I have a feeling it's going to blow our minds.

This post summed everything up so nicely. Just wow to those last few minutes that seemed to last an eternity. RV incident from last week aside, I don't remember being this tense since some key episodes/moments in Dexter season 4

They certainly blew my mind with that ending! So glad I got into this show.

13 episodes just like season 2. All the remaining should be 13 as well, the reason season one was only 7 is because that's what networks like to order often for a new show until they see how they perform. Six episodes left this season including tonights.

Actually, Season 1 was cut short due to the writers strike.

Another great episode.

Gus was doing what he had to do to cover his tracks. It will probably come back on him in some way. We'll see. I guess Tio was right, 'Never trust a South American.'

Nice reggae version Shimmy Shimmy Ya never heard that before.

I also don't think Walt will get rid of Gale that easily. I have a feeling he will be back.

wrong.

The first season of the American television drama series Breaking Bad premiered on January 20, 2008 and concluded on March 9, 2008. It consisted of 7 episodes, each running approximately 47 minutes in length. AMC broadcast the first season on Sunday nights at 9:00 pm in the United States. There were 9 episodes planned for the first season but this was cut short by the writer's strike.

I'll be watching tonight's episode tomorrow.

Hank "The Tank" Schrader for governor of destruction.

My heart was in my throat last week. I've been noticing and enjoying the focus on Hank since season 2, growing to care for his dedication to his job and his inability to handle confrontations directly. The writing and directing for this show is so good. I've cared for characters in other shows as much as Hank, but rarely do the writers and directors create a situation that forces me to become shockingly aware of just how much I like a character.

Well I called it last week, Gus was behind the phone call and it did have to do with him wanting to take over the drug trade. That seemed pretty obvious to me after the phone call, but it was confirmed last night.

When this season began is was all about the cousins and I thought they would be this seasons main villains, but it has clearly become Gus. Hank killed the first brother and than Mike gave the other one something to OD on. I laughed when Mike walked over to the syringe dispenser, I knew that was definitely not a good sign for the mexican. But earlier in the episode when he hoped out of bed with no legs, and was dragging the bloody stumps because he saw Heisenberg, that was way hardcore!

Walt sure as hell needs to be careful cause Gus is a much more dangerous man than we'd originally thought.

We need Buster Bluth to do a cameo, and walk up to Gus at work and yell "HEY HERMANO!"

Yeah that's for sure. Though if I've learned anything from Scarface, it's that he's gonna die, probably soon, lol.
