It's straight from Paramount, i was in HMV today and they were unsure. I suppose it would be best to phone/email Amazon for confirmation

One question, has anyone had the audio sync issue on the PS3? Wondering about UK discs and PAL machines.

Yes, I've played it on the PS3 and it had audio sync problems.

I popped into HMV today and they told me it will be in stock tomorrow,
So im going to change mine there i will post what the new one is like.
It seems to me its going to take ages for the recall thats why im changing it in store.

I called them up on Thursday, then emailed them, and still no response. But I'm going to remain patience though, they have probably had hundreds of emails to go through.

Yeah same, seems a lot of hassle online, it would be better to exchange instore.

I can not see any audio sync problems at all on my current setup, but want a replacement just in case it becomes obvious if/when i change my setup in the future.

And i've still had no response from them, i sent the email on Friday 14th.

Yep that's what i've done my copy seems fine through the PlayStation but i might as well change it for the 'new' version. I'm just glad i didn't throw anyway my receipt

Any idea how to tell if the new versions are on the shelves, my local Asda still has copies on the shelves which i guess are the 'old' batch.

Still waiting for a returns label to come in the post.

Was thinking about returning mine to Tesco entertainment, but when i phoned them yesterday they weren't aware of any problems with the disc so i would proberly just get and old copy back in return.

I would return it. It's a lot quicker paramount told me all the old stock has been removed from shelves and returned, I'm pleased I got a good copy now the film is much better, it's spot on now.

Got my copy replaced today, it's remarkable how ill informed they were in HMV in Doncaster. They had a box full of them behind the counter and the two people serving in the shop had no idea they were there.

So the new fixed UK version also has a yellow UPC barcode at back?

It has a different number on the barcode but it isn't a yellow bar code.

They didn't come with slipcovers either.
