It's not over. Wal-Mart.com has now matched Amazon's 49.96 One last chance.

It must not have lasted very long. It's back to $63.95:

It's 6 dollars cheaper on Wal-mart's website and there is free shipping to any Wal-mart store.

I have no idea what scene that is but it looks like it probably doesn't add anything to the story.

In the original cut of the film, instead of Elrond and Galadriel's "telepathic conversation," Elrond and Arwen go to Lorien to visit with Galadriel and discuss Frodo's quest/the end of the world/etc.

Just another reason why I despise Wal-Mart. I work at one part-time. They never had that for a good price until the few seconds they dropped the price online.

I think that is a good indication that we will see it drop again in price at some point, even before Black Friday.

I predict that if it is still an active item, if and when the EEs come out on Blu, the theatricals will bottom out in price.

Amazon is strange sometimes. Earlier in the week LOTR was 49.99. Now it's 72.99.

I think I made it 100 pages before my brain melted. All I remember was Morgoth and Ungoliant running from the Elves? Or somone.

I have nothing but respect for those who have read the whole darn thing!

The Twin Towers huh? You must have gotten some bootleg version or something because it's called The Two Towers. And before you go saying "it's the same thing" it's not even close.

Probably to set up Arwen fighting at Helm's Deep, which was also cut after massive fan outrage at TheOneRing.net.
