I dont understand why people are complaining about not getting answers to Dharma. They were a company of scientists that were there doing tests on the electromagnetism of the island. What more do you need to know?

Yes it was good... because his brother was "evil". He was good because he was protecting the world outside of the Island from MiB. That's why he had to protect the light so that MiB couldn't escape.

Which is exactly my problem with the finale. We shouldn't need to make guesses about literally everything. Ya, I was never expecting EVERYTHING to be answered, but the big mysteries should have been.

Why they used Kentucky bluegrass on their lawns

how did the crates continue to drop on the island long after Dharma was around?

What in the MIB's childhood did you see that made him evil? To me he wasn't evil at all. He was just an ordinary guy whose mother and brother wanted to keep as a prisoner on the island for no apparent reason.

Oh, and his mother (who killed his real mom) massacred everyone else on the island. If I were the MIB I'd want away from my psychotic mom and bro too.

Jacob/MiB's mother was the real psycho... Killing their real mother, plus did anyone else think that the damage she did to the village when she killed everyone looked Smokey-like?

I must say, I loved season 6 (and all the others) right up to the last 10 minutes.

Both my wife and I were wondering if the writers ran out of idea's, etc. The best TV series ended so lame. Very, very disappointed here. They could have and should have made it so much better.

I guess I except the details being missing because, they were plot devices to drive a bigger story and not a story in themselves.

Quick metaphor

Back when i was boxing I would smash a tire with a sledge hammer. I would smash it as hard and fast as I could for a 20 seconds per arm then rest for 10 and do it again. I told my coach I wanted to get a bigger hammer and his reply was " are you going to smash tires as an Olympic event? that is a tool to drive you to an end, not and end in itself"

Same thing with the questions on some of the details, they were there to drive the story not make a story

I am overall satisfied but it's not the ending I wanted. The problem is the whole side ways story in S6 really had nothing to do with the first 5 seasons of the show. It felt tacked on as a fan service way to get everyone together and have a big dramatic ending. Sure, it worked in that regard but I think the emotions cover up that it did not follow the entire story we have been watching for so many years.

His brother was not evil he was curious as everyone should be. He never hurt anyone until his "mother" (who killed his real mom) murdered his whole camp. Jacob did everything he was told without question. He "murdered" his brother with as much rash behavior as his brother killed their mother. If anything the mother was the one doing pre mediated murder .. she was evil imo. His brother was the better man in my opinion. You can live your life accepting everything by default or be a real person like his brother and search for your own truth. Sorry just how I see it.

His brother was not evil he was curious as everyone should be. Jacob did everything he was told without question. His brother was the better man in my opinion. You can live your life accepting everything by default or be a real person like his brother and search for your own truth. Sorry just how I see it.

And the MIB wanted to leave the island BEFORE he was ever the smoke monster. He did nothing at all evil before Jacob killed him. All he wanted to do was leave and go to the outside world.

Yes it was Jacob's fault he became evil. His brother was honestly more reasonable than Jacob before that. Jacob knew the smoke monster was his fault as he explains to the candidates last week.

Jacob brought all the people there for his test.

There were still scientists there who were hired by Dharma like Juliet so I would think the company would still be dropping food.

yes which makes me question, why did he rise out of the light cave as the smoke mnoster? everyone is saying because he was evil thats why he was the smoke monster and thats why jack didnt turn into it. i wish they really spent more time with this also. this makes no sense, they needed more backstory on jacob and MiB or something.
