Fantastic artwork again, both come with posters, and City comes with Artcards too. *Updated Specs.

Just watched "The Edge", and it was very well done for an older film. Worth a buy IMO.

Watched: Caligula.

Picture quality wise, it wasn't that bad. Not sure where that 'looking through Vaseline' comment Ebert made came from lol. all the sex got a bit much though... 2.5/5 for story.

Shall do right now. Same cover, but it'll be in higher resolution. Hopefully the ones at uni are color scanners and not black and white.

Can only scan in black and white sadly. But I scanned the inner booklet thing as well. It's as nice as a steelbook imho. Wouldn't let me up[load here so put it on below link.

I am currently waiting for this in my Amazon UK order. Could you tell us how it scrubbed up? It's one of my fav westerns. The mustache acting is brilliant.
Cheers,
Carcuss.

Watched: Total Recall. Pretty good transfer all round for an older released title and a film of its age. Once again sound is the big winner with much improved clarity. I seem to remember there being instances of distortion on the DVD audio track but this one is nice and clean.

Watched: It's Complicated. Decent film. Good transfer.

Invictus. Great film. Great transfer. Also, Morgan Freeman was amazing! I haven't seen Crazy Heart, but Freeman's performance as Mandela was no doubt the best I've seen since Sean Penn as Harvey Milk!

And saw The Losers today. A shame it only grossed a mere $24M at the worldwide box office as it's probably one of the most entertaining action romps I've seen in a long while. The script is written by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt, both of whom worked together on Welcome to the Jungle, another action favourite of mine. This'll be a day-one purchase for me once it hits Blu.

Watched: The Fog.

Pretty good transfer considering the film's age, sharpness of the colours especially from the light of the fog came out really well. Sound Quality was also top notch.

I'm gonna make it John Carpenter Double, I'll be watching Halloween this weekend.

I will be adding to my Carpenter collection, definitely worth getting Escape from New York, and The Thing.

Any other Carpenter film on Blu-Ray you guys think would be worth getting?

i rate this one a 4
