But whatever, I just enjoyed sitting around and admiring the visuals in that game. Spinning the camera and riding the horse ;-; And I still think the game looks damn good, so a ps3 port would be spectacular. |

GOW was done to get people who haven't played the series to get interested in part 3 since its a linear storyline.
Since SOTC and Ico are all independent of LG I don't see the connection. Especially since Ico was largely snubbed by the media and buyers alike when it first came out. Your asking Sony to spend $xxxxxxxx on something that probably never made that much in the first place. Its animation or feel wouldn't be appreciated this gen (sadly). I've tried to get people to play it but they get bored 15 minutes in. Ico could be done as a PSN game, it was so small to begin with utilizing a single CD. In HD it would take up more space but it would be worth it on psn. SOTC would need a 5 star treatment. Perhaps team Montreal could do it since GOW3 is now finished, a return favour as the GOW collection would obviously shift GOW3 for them a bit more. |

I've had several people say Q1 2011 is likely for Japan, and later for RoW is probably a good bet, though I can't give an exact date as it pertains to a release of an as yet unannounced game.
Look at it this way, we haven't had a game from SCEJ since Siren(?) and now we are set to get this, TLG, GT5 and a Minna no x in the next 6-12 months. |

Until they bring me mah RPGs, no. Still waiting for LoD2 and LoD on PSOne classics Sony.
Anyways, would buy this at high price, well not high price, but I'd buy it. SOTC was superb, never played ICO and really want to, make SOTC 60FPS, improve graphics, maybe even bring out cut content like the missing colossi and co op as bonus extras only. |

![]() This is good news, I'm sure. I already own both games, but I never got around to finishing SotC, so I'll probably wait for the collection. I'm hoping the unusual circumstances around these games means that a PS3 port doesn't preclude PS2 software emulation (yes, I'm going to keep harping on that until we actually get it); they're both very highly critically acclaimed, but Ico is very hard to find, and while SotC is easier to find, it doesn't run all that well on the PS2. A PS3 port of both released ahead of The Last Guardian is a great way to promote that game. Hopefully they get the cover art right this time. |

ICO was the first game I played that you would look out somewhere, then 5 or 6 hours later you would get to a point 10 times higher and you would look down and remember being at that spot way below. I loved that about ICO. Most recently, GOW3 has the segment in the beginning where in the background you see the chains from the Judges going up, then hours later you're actually scaling them
![]() SOTC, besides being absolute awesomesauce, seemed like a pretty story-less game, as there's basically no interaction with anything besides Agro (lol) and the colossi. But when you get to the very end and get the explanation of the black crap that was everywhere and it suddenly hits you like Gouken's Shin Shoryuken ![]() And can you really ever forget the first time you get on the flying colossus? That was awe-inspiring. Last edited by Snake_XRS; 05-26-2010 at 09:50 PM. |
